hello there so i have been playing grim dawn alot lately (one char as of yet and in elite atm)
Oh yeah im lvl 58
So i was wondering if im doing things okay or if im doing things wrong
well i could use some tips.
im playing soldier+nightblade
i got both of em on mastery lvl 50 and use skills both of them.
I use 2 toggle commands from the soldier line.
i have 8 encounters mixed from them both and have no problems clearing a room out in a few seconds.
I have healing skills and the skill that lets you heal when almost death by the soldier line.
I use a axe (one handed) and a shield (double ill take to much damage)
I use the devotion trees:
Lion
Turtle
Bull
Scales
Sword
Hound
the keeper im working on
I put points in physiqeu and cunning (mostly which one is lower atm.
I got over 300 spirit around 900 physiqeu and 900 cunning
I got around 10k hp and around 3k energy
I got no problem fighting againts elites (or multiple so far i can take on 5 atm)
I have all resistances capped or around 30 or 40%)
I got 2 legendarys A pants and a set of boots (one from quest and one from a shrine on veteran)
I sided with kyomns choosen and trying to buy all rep boosters on elite
Aetherials halfway to nemesis
Chtonians a little over hated
undead hated to
Cronleys gang despised halfway to hated
Death vigil just over despised
I have no clue what outcast monsters are
I try to balance defense and offensive
off ability is 1466
Defensive is 1490
Dps is 2132
armor rating is 1004
Well, if youâre not having issues killing (or being killed) sounds like youâre doing pretty good. Keeping your resists capped (slow and aether arenât that important) is a good thing so strive for. Each faction has some nice gear and their augments definitely help. So it is good to get their rep. If you donât kill the witch in Fort Ikon, black Legion should be the only one youâll need to grind rep for (especially with the writs). If you do kill her, then you can go into her prison and farm the rep there. She and her underlings are the âOutcastâ. Most people keep her alive as she has good aether resist augments once you get the max rep (typically good for Ultimate). Only people that typically kill her are ones that want her unique helm drop. It is best in slot for arcanist caster types. Tough to give too many other pointers without seeing your full build. A lot of people will post a link like this: http://grimcalc.com/build/IoYeh29

I personally havenât played a blademaster before so donât have many other tips for you. I donât think Iâve seen too many blade masters using sword and shield though. They can put out a ton of damage with duel yield, especially using shadow strike (which also help a lot with mobility). Your listed DPS does seem low, but the sheet DPS can be misleading⌠However, if youâre clearing things in seconds, doesnât sound like it is too much of an issue. Are bosses going down fast too?
Well bosses go down fairly quick and rep farming is good
I went back to veteran kept the witch alive and gained the outcast rep
so now im tweaking how to get em both to highest rank.

So far im clearing rooms really quickly.
ofcourse i have about 8 encounters to rotate so with encounter powers(ones that attack) everything really goes down alot.
I am at infested croplands and fought serafina or something ravana queen.
Attacked her and her minions head on and killed the room (timed it :P) in 4 minutes dont know if its fast or not but i just kept attacking qeeun and the rest around it was just going dead (blade spirit helped) had to use few potions with boss.
