Hello there, my name is Nelson Ribeiro, born in Switzerland in 19/09/1983 and moved 11 years later into Portugal. I’m a electronic music producer, mostly being uplifting trance but I like to do soundtracks too, if you allow me I can show you some samples as soon as I get access to publish stuff here but I leave that for later. I had my first game in a Nintendo NES (good old times) and I like to play rpgs, fps and rts games aswell, being diablo 2 my all time favorite.
I’m currently on my 2nd contact with EML Recordings, a well estabilished UK EDM Label and have launched 3 EP’s since then, so things are looking good and the futube will be brighter, I still don’t get much money yet but I can’t never leave hope, its always good to work with the things we like, but I don’t see this as profession, yet. hello there, mainly production atm, but having some plans to get a dj course and club somewhere in europe, not here where I live, my fav music genre is Uplifting Progressive Trance and Soundtracks which isn’t compatible in the country where I live atm, also social conditions and mass unemployment forces most of the young ppl to flee from Portugal, low salary and high taxes doesn’t help, I had also to recur to the UK to get myself signed into a trance label too

I’ve got two friends who spin prog trance, one of them produces too – mostly dark prog and hard style. Both of them don’t do it as often now because trance has lost traction around here too. Couple other old friends do hiphop, house or dubstep, and they get booked more often these days. Things seem to change quickly in that scene i guess…
Yeah, eurozone unemployment seems like it’s becoming untenable. At least there’s a decent amount of mobility available to go where the labor markets may be better, but the austerity measures zonewide sound brutal… =/
