Hello!

What cheat engine 6.3 does…

Grim Dawn with Cheat Engine 6.3

Level 50:

Why?! :furious:

Because, create need to realize that save data should not be stored in my documents. This game need to be server sided with very good protection. All quests, npc, data… to be unhackable.

Like this

So because you disagree with Crate and refuse to understand that they don’t have the money to sustain a server sided game and the game itself isn’t based on that kind of system… you then decide to create a thread and snub it in their faces that you can mess around with the data with the purpose saying “get server sided or I’ll do more of this”.

Honestly I wasn’t going to post at all until the quote above was posted in which I now have zero respect for you.

Lame thread that I hope will be closed.

Edit: And yes the game can be modded and people can cheat. If you want a server sided game this game isn’t for you.

I like this game, and just having fun on this stage.

Fine but saying something like this:

Is a lame move imo and shows your lack of understanding or respect for the company that made this fun game.

Hi there GalaxyNET !

Have you tried Path of Exile or Diablo 3.they are online only and host to their own secure servers.Either of those two games may be what you are looking for in an ARPG.

They still have map hacks, zoom hacks and rampant RMT,but are the poison of your choice by far in my opinion.

good luck with GD cheat engine, there’s definitely an audience for it in a singleplayer game. :stuck_out_tongue:

I played almost all rpg games and bet on this now.
Will be glad to help by finding bugs and gives idea about game.
All best.

why use cheat engine… the main point of this game is to test/play the game in it early stages. don’t use programs like these it makes you look like a fool… Just play the game like a normal person would do.

I just don’t get it why you would use this just to “show off” that grim dawn is not protected well enough, it makes no sense to me because it is still in alpha build.

I finish the game normally many time alredy. I like it, thats why i buy it. I’m just having fun for now

Hi GalaxyNET,

I admit I was a bit puzzled by your introduction.

Why didn’t you say so from the start? The developers have been aware of this all the time. But thanx for the request. However, “unhackable” is an illusion or at least something for the far future of computing.

So, at first I thought you wanted to promote that tool. Well, if you like playing with it. If you do not like it, then you should not promote the tool on the internetz, because this will only attract other people. I will certainly abstain from it.

I partly blame the TQ defiler and TQVault for ruining my experience in TQ. While they have certainly their place, they did not overcome some of TQ’s shortcomings, and some of their options made the situation only worse. In the end I was lost in too much loot.

… welcome to the forums.

Iam not trying to commercialize the Cheat Engine in no way. Iam trying to say that the game is good in my opinion and will be such a waste, so anyone can hack his hero and ruin the game for himself. But its up to the person. Just made it online server sided, to be one interesting game everyone wants to buy it

All in good time. If you like to read a bit more, I compiled some feedback about the whole topic.

Which only effect the player and who can only blame themselves for cheating in the first place.

GD multiplayer people have the choice to play with cheat or not and control whom they play with.

Other online server sided games which have some sort of economy will have people effecting the game for everyone when it comes to botting, selling items on websites, advertising such websites, hacking people’s accounts which has a greater impact then what would happen for GD, cheating/griefing/scamming people which would also have a great impact then on GD (since you can back up files and such - server sided you cannot and have to rely on the creators of the game to help you if they choose to do so).

So yea… “server sided” doesn’t solve anything really. It’s just that people think it does because the developers of the game say it does but in the end it will have it’s own issues.

Exceptional post eis.

It is all about economics. Right now the money received must be about developing the product first then dealing with other things like secured servers. If the product never gets traction, then the point is mute.

Welcome to the game GalaxyNet, hope you have fun here. It’s a great community and a great game.

Enjoy it in your own way though.
