I got here to thank the german guys for their translation, which is really making my life easier. Furthermore I would like to congratulate Crate for this great game. My friend and me enjoy it a lot and we just can not stop playing it:D
Btw this is the first time in my 20 years of gaming that I wrote a Steam Review. You guys do a great job, the developers as well as everyone in this forum.
There are also builds posted by german natives that have extesive german explanations on you tube, if you think that would help you. One of them is Dank Rafft. Also has tutorials on several game mechanics.
Thanks for the welcome and the link. I still try to figure out the mechanics at the moment, due to lack of experience in ARPG in general. Your link helps a lot with that.
I will certainly try out a lot of builds though, it is just too much fun. The one you posted will be next on my list, he explains it really good in his video.
The link I posted was just to direct you to the user and his german builds/tutorials.
Your current build and the one you follow are very good too. It’s a good blademaster dual weild build and your skill allocation looks fine. Devotions are also pretty straightforward when doing a dual wield pierce blademaster.
There are also a few other blademaster builds you can try for inspiration:
They all look great and I had a really tough time choosing one in the beginning (because im a noob haha), and for now I stick to this one.
But I have to say, this youtuber is awesome, he explains everything so even I can understand it. I’m looking forward to watch more of his videos.
Btw: I read a couple of times, that your auto-attack is replaced in most builds with some activ skill. In my build, I don’t see which one I could choose for that. Or is that you just hope something is proccing? Isn’t that wasted?
Dual weild Blademasters and Spellbreakers mostly use “Shard of Beronath”, a rare material that you put in your weapon and gives you an auto attack skill. It has 7 charges, each charge ingreasing your attack damage more.
Check this site where you can see all items, materials and recepies for them.
They use this auto attack instead of cadence because of the way cadence works. Cadence gives a damage boost on every third attack, but that third attack overwrites your dual weild passives like Blegothian shears, amarasta quick cut etc. cutting down their frequency at 2/3.
Until you get Shard of Beronath at lvl 50 or 60 you can use Mistborn Talisman relic, it has a similar autoattack replacer
You can also bind devotions to the Beronath auto attack skill, preferably Blind Fury from Oleron constellation or Blades of wrath from Assassin. You can have both of these devotions in your build. For exampe Blind Fury on Beronath and Blades of Wrath on Shadow strike. Shadow strike is amazing at proccing stuff because it hits with both weapons at once geving you double chance, and it’s synergy, Nightfall hits again with both weapons at once. So you have 4x chances to crit and proc either of those devotions sucessfully even against a single target. It’s a powerful combination especially with Belgothian relic that resets cooldown timer on when you crit.
The german youtuber I pointed you towards also has a Blademaster explained and shown in action here. He doesn’t have Blades Wrath or Blind fury bound to Shadow Strike but to a proc. I advise shadow strike instead. You can also replace the medal he is using with Black star of deceit, most popular among blademasters because it gives you 5% attack damge converted to health and also debuffs your enemies by a flat 20 resist all making your damage higher and you conversion to health more potent when fighting bosses. The builds I pointed you to use this medal.
