You should post this in the Grim Tools thread instead. the modder will see it and, most likely, comment. Maybe they didn’t test against Chrome and there is an issue with the app.
Otherwise, Clear your chrome’s cache? Remove/disable any add-ons you have in Chrome. Start Chrome in safe mode (if it has it). Do you have anti-virus software, a firewall? Did you disable them to see if that resolved the issue?
