So, i am playing a 2H warder primal strike with ultos set and empowered inscribed bracers (that proc if you have never tried is AMAZING). The damage is there, everything melts with max 2 swings and since i have reckless tempest and many lightning procs from items the damage is more than enough.
I do however require advice defensive wise.I have grabbed high life and armor both from soldier and shaman masteries ,but sometimes the damage i recieve is huge. I even have maxed the healing totem. So i do have 1 huge question :
Why do i have the impression, that my character (primal strike main attack) CANNOT LIFE LEECH ? I have the ghoul constelation , the points in wendingo totem that make you leech and something from gear. Am i doing something wrong ? I require advice, thanks in advance
The only portion of Primal Strike that is able to leech is the %weapon damage. The %weapon damage, if you take the transmuter, is pretty low so the leech will be pretty low. The %weapon damage only hits the small radius around your initial target. None of the chain lightning damage will leech. This might be why your damage feels substantial, but your leech feels nonexistent.
See my sig for ps build, i dont have any trouble tanking on conjurer with full offense devotions. Maybe u need to use judicator set to be uncrittable. Are using kymons dmg reduction augment?
Lifeleech doesnt work on many bosses that cant be ur only source.
Tempest isnt kinda meh. Go falconswoop arcane bomb.
Chain Lightning damage also deals %of weapon damage, so it should leech a bit. However, it’s quite negligible considering the numbers.
I used Life Leech with Primal Strike - and it’s actually CAPABLE to leech life, but i had to stack quite a lot %leech to perform that (30%+, and activated ability from materia for extra 25-30%). BTW, getting stacks of Savagery (with transmuter) and reducind enemy resists should help.
