Over on this thread;

New class combo threat: who is who?

almost all permutations of class combinations have been figured out except for the one i am interested in Inquisitor/Soldier

will it be

Vindicator

or

Sentinel

i started a new character tonight and before i choose my starting mastery i really need to know. I have already named my character to include (Blank) The (Blank) Vindicator

Please throw me a bone here and confirm what Inquisitor/Soldier is named.

Tactician according to this.

"necro+demo = defiler
inquisitor+nightblade = infiltrator
soldier+inquisitor = tactician

that’s the problem, the twitch links are all down say “Sorry. Unless you’ve got a time machine, that content is unavailable.” and whatever was said in them is gone.

Everyone is guessing, i would just love to have a little bone thrown our way, just for the name of the Inquisitor/Soldier

i just want to get a head start and start leveling up my character for the expansion but i need the name to create the character.

what!? Necro/Occult is named a cabalist? :eek: That’s horrible… I think that will greatly affect my enjoyment of that class combo:cry:

I just hope that Soldier/Inquisitor is named Sentinel or smething else, other than Tactician… Tactician feels so… meh, in comparision with the other names that you get when combining Soldier with the other masteries… :undecided:

Soldier+Inquisitor is Tactician.

A very fitting theme, considering Inquisitor Creed.

Eh… I actually can see the logic behind the choice of the name Tactician for this class combo, but still, there were so many cool names that you’ve gone for instead, like Vanguard, Guardian, Crusader, etc… Oh well… guess I’ll just have to deal with that. :eek:

Cabalist is a great name and totally appropriate for the combination. I can’t see any problem with it.

Well… You don’t HAVE a Cabal. See? How can you be a Cabalist without a Cabal? Unless they’ve added a Cabal, in the expansion.

There are other, older, meanings of the word Cabalist which originate from Kabbalah. If you look it up in a dictionary a modern meaning is “a person who is well-versed or highly skilled in obscure or esoteric matters.” What you are talking about as in a “Cabal”, probably derived off the original meaning at some stage.
