Howdy everyone. Might I say Grim Dawn is an amazing game, really brings me back to my Diablo 2 days. I have a few questions about the loot hunt. Is it hard to find gear or is it like D3 to were I play 2 hours and have an entire set of gear (This is a major blah to me). Thanks in advance.
Welcome to the game and to the forum. 
Loot’s easy to find, good loot a bit harder so you may need to do some farming depending on what you’re looking for. You’d be extremely lucky to get an entire set in a 2 hour time slot I think just as general play. Maybe if you farmed a particular boss for those 2 hours you might, but I’m not sure you could guarantee to. RNG can be a bitch sometimes. 
Although many build guides do give BIS “best in slot” items, the game doesn’t require you to have them to make it to the end. You can still complete the game with good gear which will often be a mix of green (rare), blue (Elite) and purple (Legendary) items.
