I just started playing this game, after logging over 500 hours into Titan Quest
But, when I hold ALT it doesnt show the item containers like it did in TQ. Is there a way to fix that?
Cheers!

There may be a mod or one in the future that will make it possible, but it’s not an option in the base game.
IIRC, the devs have stated they made it this way to encourage exploration or some such. Crates and barrels are obvious enough anyways, and once you get used to seeing the sparkle-effect from the other things, you should be ok.
I know it bothers a lot of people, though, not having the option.
It’s pretty irritating when it’s something people have become accustomed to in other arpgs. That was the first thing I noticed when I started playing, I kept searching through the settings trying to figure out how to highlight interactive objects. I’ve gotten used to it, but some stuff is really hard to see. I can’t imagine how many chests I’ve missed because I couldn’t see them.
Thanks for the replies.
It bothers me a lot that they have removed that feature, especially since the containers are much harder to spot in GD than in TQ. Well, guess I just have to get used to it. I see why they wanted this, but I am sure I will miss lots of containers because of it.
Would def use a mod to get this feature.
Great game otherwise, but TQ will allways have a special place in my heart. The setting in GD is just… too dark.
Turn your gamma setting up in the options if you don’t want it so dark. (in-game gamma only works in fullscreen. Any other screen mode you would need to adjust gamma thru your video cards settings or possibly the monitors settings if it has any, such as a TV).
After awhile you just know what to look for and you won’t miss as many as you think.
