Homestead north gate not opening

I running on elite and have done the quest to get Ulgrim to homestead. The north gate is still closed and I don’t see any way of getting through.

Have you talked to Ulgrim and/or Creed?

Have you got the objective to eliminate the Amalgamation? Have you tried verifying your game files or running the game’s Repair.exe? Tried doing a clean reinstall?

I got the quest to kill the Amalgamation and Ulgrim and all dialogue tress go no where. I ran the repair.exe and north gate still not open. Everything else works fine.

So i assume you killed the Amalgamation and than talked to captain Somer and than to Ulgrim?
