How do crucible banners work with pseudo pets?

So, a question for the enlightened:

Are pseudo pets such as mortars placed within the range of the Vanguard Banner still getting its bonuses when the player leaves the range?

Personal guess is no since they depend on your bonuses but you’re not under banner so they aren’t too. But who knows.

Their damage is based off of your stats, so you would need to be within the range of the banner.

Thanks, Z!

I see your policy towards clarifying game mechanics changed. I think it’s good.

Can’t say my policy’s changed.

Generally I give the community some time to help each other, and if incorrect info is posted or if it’s something particularly complex, I may chime in.

Also, maybe it’s a slight overlook or just a minor detail, mortars are getting the blessing animation (the twirling light sparkles) when set up before blessings are taken.

late to the party, but this is similar to inquisitor seal I think, it should be implemented in the game similarly. If you place a mortar trap on an inq seal and you are not standing on it, the mortar will deal less damage. If you stand on the seal, mortar will deal more damage.
