How do Devotion procs, like elemental storm (chance on attack), work when attached to an AoE skill, in this case specifically Wendigo Totem. Is it chance per mob, per damage tick? More mobs getting hit, can it proc multiples?
Trying to figure out if I have my devotions set up the best way for ultimate or if I should shuffle some around to different skills. Right now I have:
I’m thinking I need to switch Twin Fangs and Elemental storm, so I can get the RR more reliably, then having a chance to proc from a proc like it is now, and I’d rather have multiple ES’s going if that’s possible by attaching it to the totem.
While I can’t necessarily comment on Feral Hunger or Wendigo totem giving you more consistent resist reduction, I feel I should point out that twin fangs is largely wasted bound to Wendigo Totem, especially for an elemental build (assuming you use it purely to get extra health return)
This is because life stealing procs like Twin Fangs or Wendigo’s Mark will heal the entity triggering it. In this case it is actually trying to heal your totem instead of you.
I thought I had read that Wendigo doesn’t work like that, it gives the healing from the devotion to you instead. That information could have been incorrect though, not sure. Either way this has all been helpful. I only have bat anyways for the green and red constellation bonus.
