How do you keep your loot organized and have a nice trading list?

I want to have your insights on how you keep your stuff organized.

Especially how to have a well-kept trading list eludes me…

Here is my situation:

I play on a laptop and pc. Gd stash only runs on my pc. Therefore, I use mules for my legendries and blue items are managed via Gd stash. I only keep 2 of the same legendary and for set items I now keep all.

Initially I used to export my collection via GD stash and format it into a google spreadsheet. But now having about 10-12 toons it is really getting hard to keep track if the items are in use.

For example, items like Pant of Barbaros or Bladebreaker Stash are used on multiple toons but are also high in demand for trading. Sometimes i have a spare one sometime i don’t.

How do you keep track of such stuff?

Thanks for your input,

When I was playing self-found, what I did was have a pack mule for each item slot.

e.g. Belts, pants, 2H, 1H, etc. etc.

Everytime I wanted to check if I had an item, I would go to said pack mule. Was a MASSIVE pita to upkeep though, and was one of the biggest reasons I abandoned self-found. Especially when I found myself spending as much time organizing shit as I did playing the actual game.

I do the same and when i have GD stash availible , I can quickly check if the item is indeed still around.
So distributing your item over toons and remember which one has which items helps alot

Another problem which i have is that i can export my collection from GD stash as a trading list, but here it is hard to tell ifthe item is currently in use…

Sorry, I’m unfamiliar with that function of GDstash…but can’t you just go to the character transfer tab, and look at your pack mules?

Why would an item be in use if it’s been chucked into the stash of an aforementioned mule?

There is an ‘collection export’ function, i use to create a googledoc as a trading list. It format your collection of purple blues as a forum list. But i does not differentiate between stashed or equipped items…
