Hello, I know that ABB depends on off-hand damage. However, why is it that a lower damage off-hand is more powerful when ABB is equipped as a default attack?

For dual pistols it work for both MH and OH - http://www.grimdawn.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49058
But for DW Melee it’s solely off-hand damage
Hhhhmmm…since ABB is only affected by off-hand, so why does my main hand is negative when comparing a more powerful weapon? (Please refer to image)
Melee DW ABB isn’t even worth it
2h Melee ABB is though
If you want DW Melee with Nightblade go for Shadow Strike
Thanks for the advice. Out of whirling death, balgothian shears and ama quick cut, which would you suggest? Or none at all for dw?
For which type of damage?
Main pierce and cold (Going for the deathmarked set), do have slight bleeding
I am a little unsure:
Chthon made this Cold Spellbreaker Build: http://www.grimdawn.com/forums/showthread.php?t=53153
And he also took ABB. Perhaps he can help more.
I need that crescent moon So beautiful!! 900 hrs in, I got none x.x
Word of warning though, you need Scourge Relic for that build since it was made around that relic
The skill itself is pretty good due to good damage output and most important good ADCtH returns so its kinda worth building around. Plus it has the coolest skill icon in the entire game
ABB is there for Lethal Assault buff. For ABB I can only suggest Dual Pistol Breaker or Rifle Breaker
You can have Crescent Moon from me. And I can craft Scourge if you want still it.
So if I’m going to use deathmarked set at the end, should I bother with ABB?
No, either get auto-attack replacer through the second mastery or Shard of Beronath.
Not needed for Shadow Strike builds
