Hey, I hesitate between seal of ancestry (https://www.grimtools.com/db/items/8914) and seal of annihilation for my S&B Aether Death Knight. I wanted to know if Seal of Ancestry is valuable to tank the chtonian and aetherial nemesises (+Anasteria) at waves 150-170 in Crucible, because everyone seems to prefer seal of annihilation. In particular, does the 7500 damage absorption occurs before or after the damage reduction due to armor and aether/chaos resistance? Because if it occurs before then it is not very useful
occurs after resistance afaik. It’s like extra hp until it’s depleted. Then CD starts etc
Ok thx! So the CD only starts when this “shield” is totally depleted, or after the first hit? And why do people always take seal of annihilation then? Because that 7500 extra hp for aether and chaos could help tanking an Alexander’s meteor for example, or some of gravathul big attacks
after depletion. Depends what you need. cast/attack speed are valuable. So is OA/DA rr. Where I don’t need these i use ancestry
Ok, thanks a lot for your answers!
