PLEASE READ THE EDIT IN THE 2ND POST OF THIS THREAD

Note - Armor in attached picture is much higher than the actual 2400 ingame due to the aegis proc being active.
All discrepancies in the above GT link and the attached screenshot are per crafting bonuses/rolls.
The actual guide is below this block of red text. This is just my preface.
The reason why Iâve decided to post this build is twofold:
-
Itâs my way of giving back for all that Iâve learned about GD from this community.
-
To thank the people who made this build possible - Heatwave, Cryoo, Burger, Marzuk, Wartec, Colasson, Jet Pogi, Chthon, and the rando who gave me the 2 alkamos rings as thanks for the worldender I tossed his way.
I designed this character to consistently conquer the worst of the crucible with no buffs, no banners, no consumables (with the exception of potions). And I failed miserably.
AFAIK, RNGesus makes the above goal near impossible (e.g. getting that shitstorm of monster mutators of +75% crit damage, +6% OA and player mutators of -100DA in wave 170 with kuba, iron maiden, and GravaâThul all after a piece of your ass while simultaneously dodging that green ball of bullshit which is Aleksanderâs ultimate âfuck youâ is the reason why).
That being said, I would consider this to be a quality build capable of reliably beating 160 (no buffs/banners/etc.) with approximately a 70-80% success rate.
Another interesting thing about this build is that while it does use the Mirrorâ>Aeonâ>Mirror combo, it is designed to be a frontline fighter. As such, it capitalizes on amplifying the flat cold damage from undying oath, lethal assault, and Iskandraâs focusing prism via ABB and SS.
It does NOT rely on kiting/frostburn ticks to kill. Having tried both playstyles, I would say that the 2 are equally viable. The choice would depend on player preference. However, I did find that the ABB route I opted for had a faster clear time.
This build is fun, fun, fun, fun, fun. It is a build in which the player progresses WITH the character. As you spend more time with the toon, not only are you rewarded with better gear from farming, your playing improves as well. This is a playstyle which has a LOT of outplay potential (e.g. kiting from nemesis before shadow striking Aleksander to both continue the assault, and to dodge his green fuck you.)
As such, the element of human error does creep in, and I would NOT recommend this toon on hardcore vanilla, though theoretically I do think itâs possible.
This guide is exactly that - a guide. Not a step by step instruction on how to build this breaker. After all, the items you get will be different from mine, and as such, the player needs to be versatile.
The key thing to note is that Cooldown Reduction is the BEST possible stat for this build. It both simultaneously increases offence (by lowering shadowstrikesâ and ABBâs CD), and increases defence by lowering the downtime from mirror.
Leveling - pretty straightforward in my book. I personally used PRM with the malmouth 'roid juice. You can also used ABB. A far more efficient way would be to get a buddy to speed level you to level 40 in gladiator crucible.
Devotions:
This is very very flexible. What you CANNOT afford to miss out on is - Aeonâs, blizzard, elemental storm, rumor, and watchtower.
What I recommend is the following:
- Crossroads --> Viper --> Remove point from crossroad
- Eel
- Hound
- Watchtower
- Crossroads --> Wolverine --> Remove point from crossroad
- Crossroads --> Candle
- Chariot
- Rumor
- Spec out of candle
- 3 points into crown for elemental storm
- 4 points into Amatok for blizzard
- Crossroads (the yellow one with 5% hp) --> Rod of Rattosh
- Aeonâs - I canât remember where I read this, but the best skill to attach aeonâs to is that of the transmuted Callidorâs. I HIGHLY recommend making that 2 skillpoint investment.
Youâll end up with 1 devotion point left over. This is actually pretty awesome as you can move it about where wherever you please to patch anything you might be missing as you progress with your gear. For example, 1 point in dyrad yields 10% poison resist, the 4th node of crown gives 18% elemental resist, the top middle most node in Amatok - 30DA, the first node in berserker yields 80hp + 20 OA.
Gearing:
Apart from the obvious soulrend/alkamosâ rings, the cornerstone of this build revolves around Iskandraâs focusing prism, and undying oath. The flat damage from these 2 items? Magnifique. +15% damage during mirror with an additional 6% CDR? Fuck yes, mate. Fuck. Yes.
Also, the relic I went for was good olâ Aegis. The mercy/vengeance of all relics. I personally donât like the nemesis relic despite the +1 to all NB skills. And how I WISHED I could use the belgothian carnage relic.
Do not be put off by the greens. This build can (and has) been done using legendaries. That being said, it will not be able to clear 150-170 without buffs. While I hate item dependency, I feel that this is fair - It makes sense to me that youâre gonna need top tier equipment if your goal is to solo 170 with no buffs, etc.

Questionable decisions Iâve made which Iâm also uncertain of:
-
Overcapping shadow dance to 18/12 and maivenâs to 13/12 - I did this primarily because I got frustrated with the RNG of mutators. And was trying my best to compensate in anyway I could. If you donât care about soloing gladiator with no buffs, etc. DO remove this 6 point investment in shadow dance, and leave mirror at 3/12. Spend it wherever you please. NOTE: 17/16 ABB is fantastic. The frostburn damage leaps by a MASSIVE amount from level 16 to 17.
-
Not using the Kraken constellation - I was so sad to spec out of kraken. I wanted that +15% crit so badly.

However, this build does not rely on attack speed, and the +% all damage is negligible in my opinion. Rattosh on the other hand offers better resists, more da, more hp, and more OA.
-
Using iceskorn talons instead of chilling grips of Hagarrad - As Chthon kindly pointed out to me, the 25% pierce --> cold conversion is fantastic on Hagarrad. However, I feel that iceskorn provides more +skills, a significant boost to ABB (a very prominent source of damage in this build), and better pierce resist which we are sorely lacking in.
-
Using frostdread curiass instead of deathmarked - Again, with my goal in mind, defense far outweighs offense. And the bonuses from deathmarked did not allow me to kill things significantly faster to the point where I was willing to sacrifice the 1% CDR from the +2 to starpact, and the HP/DA boost of frostdread.
Hope yâall enjoyed the guide!
