How to maximize Crucible loot?

  1. Is there any merit under the assumption that higher end score = more legendarie chances?

In my experience i have had 3 legendaries with 5-6 mil score as well as 6-7 the same score or lower.

  1. I cannot notice any difference in terms of legendary number between Challenger and Gladiator.
    However the time difference between 2 is huge - like 50%+ at least with my poison witch blade. I can do 130-150 in Challenger with 5th spawn in 7-8 min, while regular Gladiator takes around 25min to do the same and the risk is higher.

  2. How to activate the 6th spawn? I always start +extra spawn but there is no extra extra spawn option nowhere to be found - what am i missing?

So can the pro share tips what and how to do in Crucible to maximize loot yield.
