But Port Valbury both sucks AND blows.
When will Crate stop putting that miserable poison goop floor everywhere? It even fucking floats around after you now!
I’ve played through it exactly once on Ultimate and have no intention of ever going back there on any character.

I love this game but…
played it once, doubt i’ll go back.
I don’t enjoy the “floor is fire” schtick. Please stop adding it.

Complete opposite for me. I love it
Too bad you two didn’t like it :undecided:
I like it but currently many builds are patched out since kiting in there is so much more difficult than BoC. Hopefully OA fix will help
Port valbury is great : reward wise is the best roguelike (rogalyova) dungeon out there.
You can get exclusive legendary and good MI’s belt in there, i also like it aesthetically and it’s quite fun.
there were some scary moments but worth the entry especially in ultimate… best rogalyova dungeon indeed! a good training ground for players…

I used to hate it but now i don’t mind it much anymore, guess i got used to it.
I still hate the trek to Immolation though.
While I agree that the environmental damage can be annoying at times, it’s not really that bad, once you get to know the area…
I wish that the environmental damage on GD did a health degeneration instead of taking a % of your HP per sec…

and you can’t resist it either…
Conflagration is just annoying.
I miss Steps of Torment.

And there’s this… which is a rather big part of the problem.
If floor damage could be mitigated through normal resistances, it would go a long way towards my seeing it in a more favorable light.

That’s a very good point as at the moment having a massive health pool makes no difference as it kills you just as fast.

When got tired of it made char with abnormal hp regeneration and stud still in conflagration aether dmg ground for 10 mins just to feel better

Nice…
I’ve just noticed Ceno had a mod that removes all the environmental damage, and while I prefer not too mod GD, I’ve already downloaded it and going to give it a spin in a while :D:D
So you don’t like aetherfire? Then stop standing on aetherfire! Unless you’re playing melee, then lol@you. But seriously that must suck for melee.

Yay for mods that totally negate things that were made for the dungeon, might has well turn on “invincible mode”
^^^ Maybe finish act 1 before posting about dungeons. Aetherfire is in several places in the game and it’s a stupid asshole to deal with every time.
I have to agree. At least make that shit aether damage! It’s fucking aetherfire , is it not? Why doesn’t it do aether and/or fire damage? I understand the fluff reason behind the effect but my god is it ever a stupidly aggravating mechanic.

…but…but the drops are in there as well
Yes it does indeed
Slight over reaction when everything else can still kill you and it’s a SP game made to be modded…
And this would be a problem for you because…?
I hate port valburys staircase after the flames of valbury since my character walked into it instead of up it, que raging for 15min as I cant get out of the staircase and feel like god damn Harry Potter but with better magic. Other than that wasted key I love the aesthetics of the place.
