We have witnessed the lasting commitment from the Crate team to continue expand GD via patches and even just for that their names will remain in the “Eternal Awesome Dev`s Valhalla” .
Still GD story wise we know ends a bit on a cliffhanger with tons of interesting storylines remaining open.
What if we can get a small DLC with just a few zones and a long quest chain (plus a final Uber Boss) around:
Following being deceived by the Three, Taken banishes Korvaak but following reveal of the threat from Yugol and getting the Iris the stakes are higher than ever - we need Empyrion back.
The player is tasked together with Ulgrim`s help to track and find the self exiled and driven mad Ulzuin, the Son of Empyrion and failed protector of his bro Korvaak who could use the Iris to track his dad - we need a celestial to use it to find him as he is off world.
Perhaps Riggs using the Iris locates Ulzuin in a very distant place (why not a dreary icy forgotten place - imagine Icecrown from Warcraft but times more dark - like who would seek out a fire god in an ice place). These few zones could be real high end difficult illustrating the evolution (and power creep) of the game. The end would be taking the Iris to Ulzuin and locating Empyrion (maybe even some chat with the all father revealing the truth behind the War of the Gods and opening GD2).
And the cherry on top would be that we could have the option to Fight Ulzuin as the final Uber Boss of GD1 - he should be more formidable than Ravager and Callagadra.
So thats like 3 zones, few lore notes, few new enemies and new mega boss with his skill set (and few items of course), i know i would pay whatever they ask but for your average customer i guess 5-8 EUR/USD would suffice?
What medea said. They have intentionally left some story pieces like Hammond for a GD2.
I have a feeling that we might see Ulto Treig or another major Bloodsworn leader on par with Karroz/Salazar/Thalonis sometime after 1.1.7.0, but this is only a feeling and there is no proof I’d want to comment on as of now regarding it.
Ulzuin was basically Korvaak’s butler that got manipulated like a lil bitch by Bysmiel. Callagadra was so powerful that she had to be contained due to her terrorizing the entire Korvan land. And Ravager is on par with Mogdrogen because Mogdrogen couldn’t outright kill Ravager. He had to curse him because that’s all he could do to the Ravager.
Ulzuin = T3 celstial devotion and the son of Empyrion - yes he is a handyman for his uncle Korvaak but that doesnt change power levels - Korvaak was second in power only to Empyrion from what we gather from the game lore.
Ravager is a minor deity manifestation of hunger if i recall correctly and apart from the cursing the fact that he is in spirit mode is becaues he got his ass handed to him by that clown Mog (who is also low tier in power levels imo despite his T3 devotion as he is a Titan not an actual primordial god).
Callagadra is created via some ritual aka artifically created monstrocity - she is not a god by all means just some uber powerful mindless entity like a golem i imagine.
So pure blood celestial direct relative to Empyrion > minor deity owned by a loser like Mog =/= Golem like semi-deity Cally.
Devotion tier mean nothing because Chthon is far above all gods because it took a combined effort from several to defeat him. So Chthon should be like a T5 devotion. I mean, is Obelisk’s Menhrir also super powerful? It’s just a rock and that’s a T3 devotion.
He’s wasn’t a manifestation of hunger at first, he was the guardian of all beasts. The curse Mogdrogen gave him to turned him into the former and Ravager didn’t get his “ass handed to him”, he got betrayed by Mogdrogen.
Nowhere in the game does it says this.
Don’t know where you are getting this Ulzuin thing from, but the game clearly made it sound like he’s one of the lesser deities. And i mean at the bottom of the list. And being a god doesn’t mean you are somehow stronger than other non-god things.
