inquisitor and ritualist multiplayer help

So, me and a friend are playing multiplayer.

So far he has chosen necromancer and shaman, so I seem to recall that being the ritualist. He was aiming for 2h melee at first but it seems… like it’s not working too well atm.

Any advice? as it is we are considering making him a summoner instead.

Any advice on the build, either summoner or not? Rough outlines would be fine, just if anyone knows just about what works and not :slight_smile:

As for me, I’ve chosen inquisitor so far… Not quite… sure what to do. Leveling with word of pain seems ok but besides that I’m not quite sure what to go for. Trap-runes are slow but i’m sure effective later.

Any advice on what to go for? I’d prefer some kinda caster-type but we are playing HC and so far I’m pretty squishy.

We do have some higher lvl gear but preferably give us advice not super gear dependant since we have no new items and only a few legendaries (purple).

not an expert, i just stayed at a holiday inn express, but i’m bashing stuff with my 2h’er and have skele’s dumping on stuff too. only on vet mode so far.

with my ritualist (currently at lvl 50) so far i got 20 points dumped into shaman to get the totem - 25 points in necro to get siphon souls

i run mogdrogens pact and spectral binding buffs

savagery as my default attack with points in might and tenacity of the boar. also points in the 2h/melee passives of both classes

i also have about 10-12 points in the skeles for my security blanket - may spec out of it in the future

i seem to tank better than my soldier friend at this point but he also stayed at a holiday inn express… but it was in canada so “exchange rate”…

i had a lvl 7 occultist that i picked back up last night and added inquisitor to him.

he’s dual wielding pistols like a champ since they both buffs for that. wasn’t sure if that’s the way you were trying to go with yours.

to be honest i have no idea, originally i wasn’t planning on using guns but i tried the traps and they feel too slow to use only, and flames are way to draining right now… the word of pain works well against trash mobs but nothing bigger kinda (well anything dies eventually) and the electric box seems just weird. maybe they’ll be better later but for now I think there’s something missing :stuck_out_tongue:

maybe ranged is the way to go after all.

then again, if my friend goes skellies, the traps n such would serve a bigger purpose maybe
