Slowly working on an Internal Trauma Forcewave build after seeing the Ardor of Octavius set. And you don’t need to point out it’s incomplete, I will be adding components and augments as soon as I can figure out the optimal devotions considering Internal Trauma seems to be one of the least supported types of damage in terms of gear and devotions.
http://www.grimtools.com/calc/eVLK4M2G is what I have so far but need help with devotions since support is spread sporadically with only a few nodes per constellation.
Yours came out better then mine. http://www.grimtools.com/calc/b28kDeNj was the best I could manage with my limited knowledge of trying to make builds. We’ll have to see if Crate nerfs the 4pc set bonus or not. I hope not since Internal Trauma seems almost the least supported damage types.
Nah, yours is pretty viable too. Octavius is actually my first build I ever made. Polished it for almost 4 days, then literally an hour ago gave a final review to see, if I can improve something.
The one thing I’m mad about is fucking Bull Rush. Not only it hits nearby foes only, it also has so many points you can’t advance Menhir’s Obelisk + Tree of Life path. So I did what I could.
I don’t think they will. I’m already concerned about stupid AoC being there doing nothing, so removing more physical res to force us into that shit is just silly. And as you said, Internal Trauma is least supported, so yeah. Besides, rarely ANYONE uses Forcewave.
My first build is a Death Knight retaliation build. I need to drop least 200 DA and exchange some retaliation for some Vitality/Aether damage for Soul Siphon. He made it through Ultimate Bastion of Chaos without a single potion but the 67-70% chance to be hit made it take way too long.
Someone needs to make some proper lvl100 test char. Tried to download the blank lvl85s to increase to 100, GD Stash couldn’t load them. Made a lvl1 char and used GD Stash to get him to lvl100, can’t talk to the Master in Crucible to start the waves. GD Defiler for some reason can’t change any of the values so that’s out as well.
Yeah, I saw you talking about that. And I’m still grateful, since I was about to make the same mistake.
There is a rumor about devs adding reflect to Overguard transmuter, by the way. If this is true… then holy shit, Retaliation will be much more powerful.
Did you invest in Physique much? I simply removed a lot of points from it to Cunning, improving my OA and damage instead. I now have around 2880 DA, which is good enough for me.
You know where to find a proper blank lvl100 char? After I made my test char, got him to 100, set up all the skills, gear, components and augments, he can’t even talk to the Master in Crucible to start the waves.
What program did you use to do this? I use GDStash and GDTH all the time, so far - no problems.
For GDStash, though, you need to be in main menu at the moment.
Very hesitant to change any of the gear, devotions, components or augments since some of the resists are at a precarious situation where any change might require an entire rework of everything. It is a bit better with 2556 DA instead of 2994, just dumped the 78 attribute points into spirit to bump up the Vitality/Aether damage for Soul Siphon. So far don’t think I’ve even dropped below 50% HP even at a spot where 5 hero mobs are at.
Edit: Don’t think I want to drop the DA on the Death Knight retaliation build much lower. Going through Bastion of Chaos again, depending on the mob, my chance to be hit went from 71.6% against the weakest mobs to 86.1% against the highest bosses.
And this seems to be a build that will require health potions to survive. Just tried Bastion of Chaos and got totally wrecked by the first group of trash. Definitely can’t tank like other builds can. Definitely not my type of build.
If anybody wants to take over this build, go right ahead.
