I kept trying to use a shaman for a DW Lightning build but I’m coming to the realization that it’s a build that has a lot of support for 2H. After trying, Elementalist, Trickster and Vindicator I think Saboteur is actually the best out of all them. Mainly because you get DW right away and don’t have to waste a rune slot or rely on Dire Wolf and because the Night Blade in general has a ot of support for that type of build.
Sucks because stormcaller’s pact is such a cool skill but I really can’t make Shaman work with a DW skill. It feels I’m missing way too many good stuff with Shaman
Sabo sucks :p. Cold isn’t even that good with sabo, much more lightning. Nightblade has zero lightning support. The DW advantage is easily offset by the fact that there’s just no item support for lightning sabo. I’m not saying it won’t work, but if it ever works it will be worse than other sabo builds and other dw lightning builds.
If you want lightning FS then go purifier or elementalist, then Vindicator for DW savagery.
Lightning Saboteur is actually fantastic. Not as good as it used to be, but still very strong, and much stronger than Elementalist or Vindicator would be.
