Ive been following this build for a saboteur by Jajaja. Is it still a decent build for a first character to begin farming for gear for other characters? Seems to melt thing but I am still in normal.

Sure it’s viable. There are also some updates but overall you can still have a lot of fun with it, especially vs mobs
