Just discard the lanolin when slaughtering animals, don’t make my entire barn sick. If I’m full, just automatically discard it.

I don’t know where that comment is coming from, sorry. I’m referring to the by product that is created in cow barns and goat barns that can be used to make soap. If your storage is full, it blocks you from slaughtering cows/goats, which can spectacularly screw up your food supply.

Just delete it. Go to ‘Resources in Storage’ pick Tallow and use ‘Dispose of Items’ the Orange cross button. Choose how much to dump, works with all resources I think.
I build 1 storage depot that accepts only tallow. This gets the tallow out of the barns, and when it fills I get the message there’s no place to store any more. Then I empty the depot and I’m good for a while.
