Despite playing Grim Dawn for 40~ hours now I have only ever played Demolitionist once and Nightblade twice.
This got me wondering which class you guys play the least 
Funny how Soldier isn’t even an option.
Here’s my list so far:
Soldier - 8
Nightblade - 6
Shaman - 4
Occultist - 4
Arcanist - 4
Demolitionist - 6
It’s a three way tie with Shaman, Occultist and Arcanist.
Only class combo i haven’t tried yet is Warlock.
NB for me. No particular reason, I just really like soldier, arcanist and demo more. Shaman and Occultist are ok, but NB I just never got into it. Dunno, haven’t played a NB build in forever.

Soldier is by far my least played class. Only time I take it is if I want to play Forcewave

Shaman, because it was added last.
Occultist is the one I play the least for sure (Curse is strong but I don’t really like the class’s abilities and theme), but I have a ton of Nightblades.
I don’t know which is played the least, but I feel like Occultist is the biggest “drag.”
It just doesn’t really stand on it’s own. You basically take it for CoF and Blood of Dreeg. Probably possession depending on your other mastery. Everything else feels very lackluster outside of some support abilities, unless you’re playing with a DEE acid/poison build.
It has a bunch of great stuff, but it’s really spread out all over the place. Ceno’s mod that merges/fixes a bunch of stuff in Occultist looks really good, but I haven’t tried it yet.
Nightblade 100%. I hate the whole class. The whole thing is a mess of random damages, flat and %, that often make no sense whatsoever to use together, and only get scaled at the same time by nightblade specific gear.
I mean, they’ve got Pierce, Cold, Frostburn, Physical, Chaos, Vitality, Acid, Poison, Bleed…Can they pick something and for the love of Ch’thon stick with it? If they were a Cold or Acid/Poison class, I’d have no problems. I could even deal with Pierce being involved. But the mess they make out of all of their skills is just awful IMO, and I don’t want to deal with trying to scale it.
Arg. Nightblade. Yech.
My most played Class is either Occultist or Soldier…I do have three Witchblades so far.
As for standing on its own, DEE could make it stand MOSTLY on its own. Because it has two pet lines in it, you really can’t make a solo Occultist without taking on of those, and hybrid pet builds aren’t a big thing, really. I intend to try and make a Pure Occultist eventually anyways, it’s on my to-build docket, but I’ve yet to do so.
Funny. I love it 100%. Its main damage is Pierce and Cold/Frost. Anything else is secondary with some being the options to turn into a main damage dealer if you choose.
Not all that complicated in my eyes.

This. Got 6 chars and only 1 soldier among them.
Shaman for me. Even though the Occultist is near.
I mostly play Soldier, Nightblade, Demo and Arcanist.

Let’s see… I have a warder, witchblade, pyromancer, sorcerer, warlock, blademaster, and spellbreaker. So guess that makes shaman my least played class.
