Legendary set smith

One of the biggest aggravations in the game is trying to build a legendary set. Because it’s so controlled by RNG on getting the parts, it can be quite possible for a player to never see a full set of any legendary over hundreds of hours, thousands for specific sets. But having multiple copies of the same part of that set.

So I had an idea. What if we could roll copies of legendaries we currently have into other pieces of that set. So I could try and roll my 12th Demonslayer’s Life-ender into my first Demonslayer’s Defense, or perhaps roll that 4th Valdun’s Rifle into his Bounty, instead.

This helps bring down the aggravation of getting tons of 1 part of a set, while allowing you to have a way to grind it into another part of that set. This still means you need to get multiple drops of X set to get the full set, but they don’t necessarily need to all be unique drops, so long as you are willing to grind out the needed resources to re-roll them into another piece of that set. Just exclude rerolling legendary helms to prevent just crafting a few helms and getting the full set (Although perhaps allow rerolling set items into helms potentially. Gives you a “fail/risk” case for the rerolls potentially, but can help for when you have yet to find the legendary helm as well.)

I’m for that.
A “3 uniques of the same base = new random unique with the same base” recipe would be useful too.

I think to add a little control to it to keep the effort/reward up, perhaps require two or three of a piece to enable rolling another piece.

So here you would consume 2 Life-Enders to try and get the Defender and re-roll as you can until successful.
