Hi My names Hi11Zone I’m a game developer as well, I’m the Community Manager of Reverie World Studios and I know How hard it is to be Indie Developer. INDE ALL THE WAY!
Our Game is On steam as well.
If you wan’t a link pm me, as I don’t know if its ok to post links to other companies
I’m Also huge Diablo 3 Xbox streamer on twitch and figured I’d help promote this game.
I’m a huge fan of Titan Quest and this looked fantastic, 50$ was steep but in words of HI11 F%CK IT!
Looking forward to see what this game has to offer and to join the ride during the development process.
Hope to meet some of the Devs and you guys!
(I may of posted this in wrong section if so go ahead and move it:) )
hope you are enjoying the game, just having a sneak peak ogf your twitch channel, one of the first things GD teaches you is you can’t tank everything, run when you can, otherwise you go down FAST!! even then potions are only there as a last resort. but all the masteries are viable, either as single or when you duel with them another. but the game is amazing, so hope you enjoy playing it!
it gives you an idea on what it will be like, a DW / assassin type class, as for the last one, I can’t say when that will be released, probably closer to release, only the devs will know and they aren’t saying
and on top of that, there might be more in the up coming expansions, so a lot of choice,
Very cool, Reminds me of MY FAV Class in Titan Quest Mesmer/Assasin. That stealth move and explode with the physics was fantastic, will that be coming back as well? Monster Don’t go flying in this when you hit them.
Welcome HI11Zone and Seiter to the forums and Grim Dawn! Hope you enjoy the game and community while testing and providing feedback on this awesome game.
Multiplayer and the other 2 mastery’s (Nightblade / Arcanist) should both be seen in the Beta. Release date for the beta is still unknown but my guess is late October or sometime in November. Hopefully it will be at the end of this year sometime.
Having A blast, screwed up my range toon and re rolled soldier/occulist and now almost level 20. Thanks to the community for hoping on stream and helping out. We got few more people to buy the game
Glad to hear you’re enjoying the game. You should be getting a new class to play with very soon.
We’re working on multiplayer currently but I can’t predict when it may become available. It has proven to be a little trickier than anticipated getting it working with Steam. TQ used Gamespy but that no longer exists.
The physics are a little wonky and need some polish. You can still send enemies flying if you hit them with enough damage but it probably needs some better tuning.
AND THE FIRST COMMENT OF THE EVENING Cheemang: sorry to burst ur bubble h1illzone but this isn’t the next big action RPG. if anything Path of Exile will/is the next up and coming. This game is for teenagers to be honest and shows no depth or any intellectual capacity to play this game. Wish you would stop promoting such a piece of crap game. Go back to playing Diablo on xbox.
The funny thing about that comment is that our core audience, based on insights from 13,500 facebook likes, is 25-34 years old.
The reality is, there is an ever growing audience of older gamers with diminishing free time to play games and it requires a significant time investment to play competitively. I played a lot of games competitively as a teenager up to about my mid 20’s but I don’t have time play anything that seriously anymore.
Guess I slip under that average of the core audience.
Ah well… there will always be adamant people with opinions that cannot be changed.
Don’t take anything personally Hi11Zone, some people cannot have their own opinions challenged or threatened by other influences, in which case it would be Grim Dawn.
I hope you aren’t getting too much flack or getting too emotionally involved with whomever is giving you grief.
It’s honestly sad with the “one game only” state of mind that a lot of players have.
These are the same folks who rather drink pepsi over coke or buy pc over mac.
Since when do we deprived ourselves by choosing only one product when we can have it all? I personally love both beverages and own a custom built pc and an iphone.
Plays diablo3, titan quest, grim dawn, poe, guildwars2, torchlight2, fate, megaman, mario, etc.
This kind of “corporate loyalty” is what replaces religion these days. People want to believe in something - it’s a natural psychological desire to believe that there is a deeper meaning to live, that one is special, etc. In former times people believed in gods and magic and such stuff, to fill these desires. Nowadays people believe in “brand lifestyle” - and companies like Apple or Red Bull use all their marketing and advertising power to foster and strengthen exactly this kind of thinking.
The whole idea of “exclusives” in console gaming, is straightly directed at this too. Manufacturers fuel the fanboy wars on purpose.
It’s just the modern way of showing religiousness.
