Loading a save and lose the lake + missing graveyard

Hello.

Since I really enjoy the game so far i thought I’d honor my commitment with my very first bugreport on anything ever.

When loading a saved map the lake I had built my town by had lost most of its water making my poor plebs unable to fish for their food.

When further inspecting the map I also noticed the graveyard was missing.

My standing theory is that the graveyard turned into a raveyard and all the partying zombies went off in a drunken haze and damn near drank the lake dry before carrying on into the void.

However this might just be a bug, and if so i’d like it fixed eventually. Is there anything i can do to recover the save? Will the waterlevels return? Will the corpses? Hopefully their bartab won’t come back to bite me…

So what you describe are symptoms of an issue where a save file ends up in the wrong directory. Check to make sure that save is in the right save folder.

Saves are located in:
C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\my games\Farthest Frontier\Save

If it is in fact in the wrong town folder, moving it back will fix all the weirdness you’ve observed. A fix for this issue occurring is in the upcoming hotfix.

Thank you very much for the quick response. The directory does not exist however (probably since it is installed by steam) but i’ll look for it!

I hope it exists as that’s where most games save.

USERNAME in this case is whatever your account name is on your PC (if I was signed in on my PC as Zantai, it would be C:\Users\Zantai\Documents…)

Is that so? Well the documents file is there but it’s empty (yes hidden files are shown)

Are you using any software such as OneDrive that may be storing your documents elsewhere?

Not to my knowlage. However the UI is in swedish so I may be misstranslating something? but an adress that simple shouldn’t be that hard…

I get to here but no further C:\Users\bullm\Documents

The game itself is installed at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Farthest Frontier
