This piece of bullcrap is way too OP in the Ultimate difficulty…I got a level 90 elementalist with EXCEPTIONAL resists(80+ I can provide screenshots) and dps(~35000)…the thing is ;I got her down to 1/6 of her life and THEN she spawned the sht out of everything…COULDNT hit her and with each death of my char she built up her life to a minimum standard that drives everyone crazy…That gameplay is horrendous and doesn’t make any sense at ALL.That IS NOT fun and must be BALANCED out.I paid 18euros for your expansion(day 1)and played 170hours ,so I can ask that…this sht DESTROYS the game…my build is GOOD(so any build way out of this is bullcraP)…PATCH THE GODDAMN THING:furious:
Maybe you should try the expansion in Elite first… for one it has some pretty tough bosses too and for another you can level up and gear up a bit possibly
But, it always periodically spawned Dreadguards after you reduce it to half HP, no? What changed?
Depends on build. My Blademaster killed it in a minute on the first try on Veteran, my Conjurer always has problems with the thing regardless of difficulty, because my pets have trouble hitting it - there is only a small corner where they can touch it.
Im gonna change some details and try again…im sure it wont make any difference though…the guards should be nerfed(hp and dmg wise imo)…my class is something like a glass cannon…i went up to this point without any problems,so that alone is proof of my point…i know what im doin so things like ‘play it on elite’ or ‘git gud’ sound like bad jokes…i play hack n slash rpgs from 1997-8(diablo)…i also finished diablo 2 lod with 1.10 patch single…that is something like godlike…played and finished torchlight 2 on max difficulty too…diablo3 on inferno in the first 3months from release…all in all i know how things work.

They’re not the problem, the problem is you’re running a glass character. Well optimized characters can do him easily. GD has different mechanics than the games you mentioned so you can struggle here
I killed a LOT of his/her minions believe me…i ll try to take some screenshots tomorrow…i dont ask for help though,thank u anyway.As a diehard veteran i refuse any easy way out of this…sometimes balance issues occur…i posted that to pinpoint a buggy gameplay…
So you are telling me that a glass cannon class is NoT a viable build choice in GD…hmm…that alone is not a good sign imo…keep in mind that i grinded easily up to this point in the game…just food for thought…maybe my tweaks save the game,but i doubt it…smells like balance issue to me

Glass build require the player to actually know the enemies’ attacks, to know when to dodge and when to tank. That requires experience with this game.
And if you indeed are a true glass build then you should expect dying a lot but at the same time your build should optimized enough to deal shit tons of damage for the defenses you compromised
Here’s the thing, Loghorrean acts as the passageway to the next difficulty, and lore wise (if you care) he is stronger than any boss you faced before him
Running a glass char is your choice, the game perfectly supports glass builds and it also supports builds focusing on extreme defense. So there are no balance issues here
Before AoM, I could rek everything and after AoM, game became harder for the same content. It’s clearly spotable when you are back with your max level character to older areas, where max level cap was level 85. Logghorean is the example. Same enemies are so much more harder to kill than before
