Looking for an easy build with little effort

I am looking for an easy build that require very little effort on my part.
At 87, recovering from shoulder surgery, fast movement on my part is out.
The last pet build, when I was okay, played well, could out run aggro.
Could use a few ideas

Dreeg Evil Eye Witchblade. Not very gear dependent, deals some solid damage and quite tanky. The build is pretty much using some poison DoT skills and then let them melt enemies

Stun Jacks Elementalist and Blackwater Cocktail Sorcerer/Commando are other options too.

I think that is nice you are playing videogames at your age!

Maybe a build using soldier and retaliation damage would work? You do not really have to do much, melee mobs simply die from attacking you, and with a shield it would be pretty robust.

I would use an attack build that doesn’t use many supporting skills. I had a few ranged Cadence builds that generally just used Cadence, Markovian’s, and maybe a single supporting skill on bosses. So generally, I’d just be hitting Cadence and Move To until I came across a boss.

Soiled Trousers Poison Battlemage can one shot most stuff

Thanks for the replies.
Started a retaliation and a summoner toon.
Norzan, Sound interesting. Couldn’t find any of your characters on forum.
Nssheepster, May look at something as simple as possible until I get the sling off in two weeks.
The reason I still play games at my age is for hand eye coordination and because TV is boring.

In case you want try them out in the future.

possibly another summoner. without the agro spells. pretty much any spell that can be considered a attack will agro them. which includes curse of frailty, many devotions, some auras. And no blowing up the dog.

it means being totally dependent on the pets to clear things. I’ve tried it and it didn’t work the best. I didn’t fully optimize towards it though. It was nice just being able to stand there for the most part. Only issue is the rare occasions when the mob killed the pets. found me and wouldn’t go back to the pets soon enough.

I was trying that on elite in the island dungeon. Never knew how much damage was actually mine, until i tried eliminating all of it.

edit:
possibly lower the dpi. or up the mouse acceleration? less movement gets more results.
