The way I deal dmg is, I set down my Wendigo Totem when needed vs tougher enemies, then debuff with curse and apply my dots in this order: Devouring Swarm -> Bloody Pox -> Grasping Vines and then kite around while reaplying curses & dots if needed.
Any help / tips / suggestion are very welcome but please do me a lil kind favour and try to keep things simple since english isnt my mother tongue & I would consider myself still fairly new to the game.
Edit: I also feel like I rly lack mobility & my energy regen rate is also fairly slow, so I have to use alot energy pots… anything that can be done there as well?
Well it’s lacking OA by quite a bit. t would help if you dropped the bleed part and go dying god.
OR rings with OA at least.
Put survivior’s ingenuity in all jewels. %dmg won’t help if you don’t have OA to back it up
Otherwise I wouldn’t do anything too dramatic until 0.6 hits
I am still not sure if Mergo’s Wet Nurse was a Great One or was she simply trying to protect the infant Great One - Mergo.
The entire Nightmare of Mensis confuses me a little
As to your build as Fluff mentioned Drop the Bleed part, it’s not too impressive. Wildblood’s main strength is the Vitality part imo
Thanks for the fast help guys!
Really apreciate it!
I hope I don’t come over as rude or ungratefull (cuz that not what I intend!) but there’s something that I dislike with your suggestion.
I would rly like to keep this build being a DoT char that kites stuff, keeps mobs at range… and if I see right (unless I totaly miss something here, if I do please tell me!) my build was changed into a vitality based savegery melee build that makes use of swarm & pox as debuffs acting as pseudo curses, right?
Wildblood is a melee set, sort of. Definitely not designed with a dot caster in mind. Those are better off with a dagger and off hand combo usually.
Having said that, you can tweak a few things:
change ring and amulet augment to survivors ingenuity, your hp and vitality damage % are high enough, more OA at this point is more effective than more damage
think about dropping fevered rage, you don’t have the DA for it at all, I would not be comfortable with this DA without fevered rage, let alone with it
lack of energy is easily fixed by using a caster chest armor (like valguurs if you have it)
your medal is an obvious slot to improve, current one is weak
Since you said wildblood is better suited for melee I also wouldnt mind completely changing around my set / gear or even reroll the whole thing to make a better vit dot char.
What set pieces or other items would you recommand?
About fevered rage: Yeah it really is risky, not gonna lie… dunno how often I died thx to it…
I only used it so I would crit mobs more often and kill things faster cuz as you mentioned I also felt like my OA is kinda low and fever kinda (not rly) fixed this…
Wildblood can be used to great effect in a melee build but it seems pretty obviously to be built with a dot caster in mind too, in light of how it buffs Swarm and Vines. Once I level up my warder I think I am going to try a build like this: https://www.grimtools.com/calc/lNkgvv6N doing dot casting with Swarm and Vines and melee with Blade Arc. Who knows, it may be terrible but I feel like it has potential.
I’ve managed Gladiator 149 with the build in my signature. It may help you to check it out. Farming Gladiator from 100-130 is easy for me, and goes pretty fast. I think I could probably manage 150 if I switched to using Dark One’s set for that sweet, sweet damage reduction mod on the gloves, plus the DA on the set bonus. I don’t have difficulty with campaign content though.
For your energy troubles I suggest either Bard’s Harp or Harvestman’s Scythe. I use Harp and it brought my pot usage down to nearly 0.
I think the amulet from the new Blood Knight set will be perfect for this kind of build. I might start using it once the new patch comes out.
