I can understand that you should not want to die. What I don’t understand is that you’re fucking going back on your weak ass shit character because, well, hes fucking weak, and then you lose EXP just to try to make him weaker. This is the kind of shit that maked me want to say fuck this shit. Losing my composure here.

You can upload your weak ass character into GrimTools, get a link, post it here, and maybe some of the nice people around here will tell you why your character sucks and how to fix it. It would probably also be helpful if you detail what exactly is killing you, the difficulty you are on etc.
Crying about losing XP won’t get this mechanic changed. It’s just about the only “punishment” the game incurs for fucking up. You’re supposed to learn from your mistakes and do better instead.

And DO note: losing XP will never de-level you. The punishment only goes so far.

He’s dying to anything and everything on elite difficulty. I cant even finish malmouth on elite… at lvl 83.
Maybe its me, maybe its him. Maybe one of us needs to be deleted.
aside from couple low resist, low armour absorb, looks sorta fine
swap some comps to fix resist Purifier, Level 83 (GD 1.1.9.6) - Grim Dawn Build Calculator
might wanna consider upgrading those low level weapons if you want a little bit more dmg
if you own Forgotten Gods, you could take a trip to Conclave and grab a movement skill rune to help get out of tight spots quickly
disengage, leap or rush are pretty decent to haul ass out of danger

Yea. He’s not too bad except for that Poison and Pierce resist - so perhaps that’s what’s getting him. Either that or his piloting abilities are lacking.
He’s smart enough to know to get components and augments and use them so he’s doing that mostly right.

If any old build could be successful and advance without issue, the game would be rather pointless.
