I regularly make towns that get up to 1000 population but the same thing always happens: people desire luxury items. OK, no problem, make furniture, candles, glass, pottery, etc. lots of that stuff in stock but they continue to complain that they’re not getting luxury items.
Is a level 2 market required for luxury item distribution or will the villagers take the luxury items directly from the manufacturers of said items? Can they ONLY get luxury items from Level 2 markets? Only asking because Level 1 markets have only barrels in their luxury items listings but once the market is upgraded you can then see furniture, glass, candles, etc.
Am I reading into this correctly or is the luxury item distribution process bugged?
i think its more the market that is bugged or at least not working as intended at the moment.
they do get the items from everywhere nontheless. but to make it easier for them be sure to activate the luxury items in your tier 2 markets and also deactivate and reactivate the market once you made that change to be sure the items will be recognized.
The problem is in storage nearby and logic how the material distribution work. In other games storage workder fill buidlings. Here the producer look for the material or goods. So if he spent whole day to go for glass, next day he go for food and until the round is at the end, you are without half of items on the market, because villagers take all out. In update they count with possibility to make quota, but as well without rework distribution system for items, it will still be pain in ass.
