Make it so that this ability spreads to other targets like Bloody Pox. The bugs should be able to spread to other things.

I like it, but maybe damage on initial levels must be a little tuned low
and
PLEASE MAKE THIS GODDAMN SWARM WOULD BE TO ABLE TO BREAK A GODDAMN DOOR

I fully agree with you, now it’s a nightmare to cast it every time)
Spreadable swarm is cool,but damage and especially RR values should be decreased .

or they could just make it spreadable upon death. Like the swarm chooses a new target.
That. And if you reduce the RR, it will be a nerf for a lot of Bleeding builds.

Well, i only agree if devouring swarm slighty improve waves attributes(width,range and speed)
Mechanically not possible as Devouring Swarm is a debuff.
As much as I would like this, it would make it too strong unless something else is nerfed. But if it keeps the bleed RR and becomes spreadable, you will certainly see some Bleed pet builds from me 
well eldritch fire spreads so how is it not possible to make devouring swarm spread. It could be like a cloud of insects that multiplies and spreads to different enemies.
