Before he was the talk of the town, a wonderfully designed beast and feared by many! Now he’s nothing but pushover and nobody talks about him anymore! With the expac coming he’d be easily forgotten throughout all of Cairn :o
Make him great and interesting by:

improving his overall damage and speed and his defenses … (slightly buff him please) :rolleyes:

Give him a Monster Infrequent drop or unique legendary ( maybe Ulgrim’s remains? :rolleyes:)… every other major boss has some kind of unique drop or infrequent, its sad to see him with nothing. that’s the reason he is being excluded from many farming routes ( not to mention his loot orbs are as greedy as ever! )

put a boss battle music! 
I know he just came back from hibernation and might be rusted but hey he is the end game campaign boss for now… maybe a slight improvement to his arsenal of skills won’t hurt! 
One does not simply bring back the god that was Loghorrean in pre-release.
Unfortunately they ran out of log. 
How can one break the log?

I remember some guy from the trading thread one or two weeks ago. He was very proud to have killed that boss after dying that much in veteran. He was really struggling, and so do others, too. Crate shouldnt make this boss stronger in vet / elite, and I bet some never found the design of this boss very attractive (including me).
god i remember that, probably the only boss in the game that killed my regen commando at that time, somehow managed to kill me through 2500/s regen and max res.
Giving him an MI is enough. I don’t think Log needs to be as strong as any of the post-game content like the Nemeses or Dungeon bosses.
Log is already unnecessarily hard or at least not fun for a decent amount of builds that can go through everything else fine, I wouldn’t want him buffed at all.
fair enough… maybe at least in ultimate he gets buffed… idk…
most importantly, couldn’t he speak or something? … he is the Voice of Chthon I am sure at least he can render us a song… it pains just to see that not even like a single taunt like Diablo’s " Not Even Death can Save You From Me … or Like Krieg’s or Cronley’s warcries… even Bloodlord Thalonis has some kind of battle taunt…
an MI like this would be nice too…
Old Loggy is fine as it is imho, if your build is not so good you can have a nice interesting fight, maybe some new surprise attack in Ultimate might be good, the actual hard hitting green one (“the puke”, that’s how my little bro an me call it) is really really weird and disturbing but easily dodgeable…
There is already a Machine gun abandoned in Devil’s Crossing… one can still dream
Or what about a nice Shotgun?? not those rifles called Tarnished-Shotgun, a real shotgun 
I actually feel that log is fine as he is.
And despite his passive status in the fight, the entire thing will test everyone’s build. You just can’t beat him if you can’t clean out the trash fast enough.
Being squeezed into a tight arena and pressured by all side by constantly spawing adds with no hard limit whatsoever was more than an adrenaline rush with my spellbreaker.
I genuinely couldn’t believe that my spellbreaker with even less health than most arcanists out there could even beat him on ultimate hardcore…and he can get one-two shotted even by the normal slith variant on Ulti if one crit is landed.
I’d argue for the more tanky or face-tanky classes, but they had it tough earlier with gear and are built to facepunch ultimate content with some level of ease, so I don’t agree with the change if it means altering log just because tanks are making instant tacoyaki out of him.
An axe made of Log’s teeth or an off-hand made of his eyeball could be nice MIs.
How about a unique materia piece?
That’d probably get annoying to farm. People already complain about farming Kilrian, for example… Not sure Logh would do better. Also, what would it even do? He does Chaos damage, he’s from the void… Well, we already have Chaos materia for melees and ranged alike, and a chaos res one. We’ve also got a chaos RR one. What else Chaos/Void can you do?
I do think an MI would be nice though.
if kilrian allows us the use of his purple aura… then it would make sense that log’s component would empower us with some kind of chaos tentacles to ensnare our poor victims towards submission:p
I was thinking about a materia that gives +1 all skills.
Do we have any materia that give + skills? I don’t think so.
Also, if we DID have a +1 all materia… Everyone would want to run it ALL THE TIME. It’d edge out every other materia in that slot.
