I’m tooling around with a new toon. I’m going 2H Savagery for starters and I was wondering if Might of the Bear is worth any points.
I’m not sure what I’m going to pair with the lightning-based Shaman, though I’m guessing Soldier for toughness. Any thoughts on that as well?

It’s not oa bad choice but more popular is Falcon swoop bacause it’s easier to get and also it shutguns with five projectiles up close. So in the end more %weapon damage and flat phys damage converted to lightning than might of the bear.
The only node in might of the bear that would be of more interest is the 5% Attack speed . Really depends where you want to get with your devotions.
Edit: soldier for toughness, Occultist or Demolitionist for max damage
Superfluff, I think you just mixed up might of the bear the savagery transmuter and dire bear the devotion 
Might of the bear gives 15% total damage to savagery and 8 physical resistance for 2h users, I don’t think there is any situation where you wouldn’t want that. Total damage gets added to everything savagery does after all the other +% damage modifiers, making it way better than just 15% to base damage boost.
Ah lol…You are right haha. But i mixed them because mith of the bear transmuter is pretty much self explanatory for twohanded savagery builds as a must in my head:D
To OP: YES get might of the bear it increases total damage multiplicatively! That is very important. Not to mention physical resistance which is rare
