When I was playing the Something for Nothing quest (unless I’m remembering wrong), the NPC told me to look for the quest targets in Wightmire. So I tried to follow that advice.
As a result of trying to follow that advice, I found the one target who is actually in the area labeled in the game as “Wightmire.” Then I spent a few hours scouring every inch of that area, trying to find the other two targets. I could not do so. Eventually I got fed up, and so I tabbed out of the game searched the web for their locations.
Then I realized my problem was that the NPC lied to me and gave me bad advice. Because he told me to search in Wightmire, that is exactly what I did. Every time I started walking into a differently-named area in the game world, such as the areas where two of the three targets are actually located, then I turned around and walked back into Wightmire. Why? Because the NPC told me they are in Wightmire, so based on that [mis]information, when I walked into a different area, I thought I was going the wrong way.
So my feedback is: the text of that quest should be revised in a patch, so that it stops misleading & confusing & frustrating players in the ways I’ve described. Alternatively, a patch should relocate all three targets into the Wightmire area where the NPC says they will be.
