The more I look at this build again, the more I actually wanna try it. It’s such a stupid concept, but somehow doesn’t look bad at all on paper.
I think this has to be more specific. What do you mean by “elemental”?
Is it tri-elemental build, using fire, lightning and cold in different proportions and skills (but all 3 elements are present in the build)?
Or is it elemental build, featuring an even spread among all 3 elements and purple animation of a skill.
I think this is an important distinction, because there’s plenty of double-element builds with a bit of third element on the side. Technically, those builds are elemental but they are vastly different to “true” elemental builds (purple).
Tbh, elemental builds should get their own column, since they often utilize different skills and devotions than double- or even tri-elemental builds.
Either or is fine
This isn’t a scientific paper, just a fun experiment/challenge. So the distinction is meaningless here.
I’ve addressed this in one of the first posts.
I get that they are built differently, but so are caster and melee builds for that matter, yet those are lumped together too.
Besides, if one could build with +elemental damage gear and steer the build towards fire by picking appropriate devotions… We have a fire build. Then modify it slightly, change devotions and place chain lightning instead of stormfire on their weapon… and yay!, we have a lightning build! Repeat for cold and elemental, and the same build could check all 4 of those boxes anyway.
The whole process becomes just a box-checking exercise, which isn’t the point.
I just have to draw a line somewhere, and this board isn’t even close to full anyway, so I don’t want anyone wasting time slightly modifying the same build to be able to check another box.
I want to see Chaos Blademasters, Acid Druids, Pierce Elementalists, Vitality Templars, etc…
I am surprised some of these builds are still unchecked. I will actually create a post for one of these builds but I will test it this weekend. Also might try making some of the others working. Have to live up to my reputation.
I mean they might exist, but not be in the compendium or no one reported them here yet.
Awesome !
Glad you’re on board
As a humble contribution, I’m trying to fill out the deceiver line right now.
Got pierce done yesterday, and will test out bleed tonight

Only Aether left and we’ll have a second completed class

I have also made lightning Sabo. And made Fire Witch Hunter with Ember’s Calling but instantly dislike it so I don’t even have a link for it
Can they both qualify ? (good enough for campaign ?)
Edit: The lightning Sabo is undoubtedly good, just by looking at it.
The Witch hunter I’m sure was fine, but for completeness sake, a grimtool link would really help
Yeah definitely; though lightning Sabo can have hard times againts Morgoneth in the dungeon And Fire WH has AoE problems but it wasn’t that bad.
Do I need to verify my Vitality Druid? I’m pretty sure it’s immortal in Crucible for example
Let’s see…
That ought to be enough
Tri-Element Commando theorycraft. Untested. Two greens.
