I’ve been searching around for old threads and such but can’t quite put my finger on the answer I seek…
Basically I want to know how mob scaling works in multiplayer when there are several players in a game with different levels.
A level 1 friend joined my game and mobs went from level 98+ (I’m 94) to roughly 50-60.
All the old topics I could find kept saying that mobs stay at the level of the hoster - but now they seem to scale to some middle-ground between all players. But I cannot find any info from Crate or any thread about this.
Also how does the game decide on scaling mobs in general? When my friend was in my game, some enemies were 98+, others were 50+. It seemed very random in general. After my friend left my game, I still kept facing lots of 50+ in areas far from where we ventured together.
