[MOD] Big Caravan v1.8 for GD 1.3.0.5 (GDx3) Steam official version

This is a custom game modified by tt300 based on ASYLUM101’s “Grimarillion v96”.

Download:
Big_Caravan v1.8
or:
Big_Caravan v1.8

Installation: Extract the zip file to the Grim Dawn/mods folder.

In the game, if you don’t see “Big Caravan ~ World001.map” when selecting from the custom map menu, something is wrong. Do not continue playing until you see “Big Caravan ~ World001.map”.

May I ask if there is a mainline mode version?

Hi bro!
Could you please fix the floating quest window so it stays below the mini-map and doesn’t move?

Due to frequent game updates, mods cannot be synchronized at the moment. Sorry!

Hi! It won’t let me choose Berserker when selecting a character. I can choose any other character, but the game freezes when I choose Berserker…

Please check the title: this mod only works with the 1.3.0.0 public beta version; the Berserker class didn’t exist back then.

I see… Is there any change expected in Big Caravan to make the Berserker character selectable?
Thanks in advance!

Theme updated.

Thanks for the update, “Baby Xue’er”. It would be great if we could get a main quest large backpack.

Any chance for this @tt300?

I deliberately left it there, so what’s this talk of “fixing”? Why would I need to “fix” it?

Not fix it per se, but why was there a need to change the default position, as it doesn’t have anything to do with stash? Is it possible, at least, to have the position the user set saved so it’s persistent through sessions?

Of course I can change it, but it’s my personal habit, I left it there and don’t want to change it, I’m really sorry. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Fair enough. Can you at least explain what files need to be modified so the position is back to vanilla values?

Hey man. After like an hour of trying to learn how modding works in this game I was able to make a modified version of the .arz file that has the questwidget as close to vanilla as possible. I’m neither a modder or a computer wizard but I think this will work without problems. All you gotta do is replace the original .arz file that comes with the mod.

Here is the file

Huge thanks to @tt300 for making and updating this mod! If you’re not okay with me modifying the files let me know and I will delete this post immediately!

If you’re simply moving the taskbar to a position closer to the original, I don’t mind, and I’d like to thank you on behalf of those who have the same need. :hand_with_index_finger_and_thumb_crossed:

Thank you all for sticking at this. I tried to replace the .arz but now there is no small quest window. Any idea what stupid thing I might’ve done wrong?

You could try hovering your mouse cursor over the area circled in red in the image to see if a key-shaped icon appears; if it does, click on it.
