I believe so, there is not real version number update with each hotfix though, so not 100% sure. Will download again this evening and try, then it definitely should be the current version :wink:

But this doesn’t actually mean anything. I’ve made a lot of changes on my end and may have inadvertently fixed it. By any chance do you have an installation of DAIL?

Yes, that was the most recent version at the time.

The version released earlier today also works for me.

When I start GD I get ‘tag not found’ instead of the class name, but when I then load the char anyway, everything is fine. I get the right class name, have my skill points etc., when exiting to the main screen GD then also displays the proper class name, so I believe this ‘tag not found’ issue actually is a GD one, not the mod.

Custom classes were shown like this since the first version of NCFF was released. It’s not the cause of the problem.

I did check file integrity - the game didn’t find anything broken and the bug persisted, and there is another person with similar problem, so it definitely isn’t the problem of my particular install.
NCFF works fine. Along with Zenith, these are the only mods I use. So the problem lies in Zenith somewhere. My wild guess is the newest version of the game doesn’t like vanilla classes being completely changed (or it doesn’t like the way Zenith changed them), since NCFF adds its classes on top and works fine.

by that same logic it also definitely is not the problem of the mod, as neither Ceno nor I have that problem with the same mod version you are using…

If this were a general issue like what you suggest here, it would not work for Ceno or me either, so whatever it actually is will be hard to track down

Post your latest char, if we can load it with skills, then it definitely is something local to your PC, not even a corrupted savefile or something

Not going to have any time today to look into it. But I can at least now reproduce it.

I’m curious as to your findings, DAIL has the same issue with the tag not found for mastery combinations on the main menu.

Because it is a different mod. Why does one game work and another crash on the same PC ?

If it is not local to your PC, why do I not have the same issue when I use the same mod version ?

I have no idea what actually causes this, and neither do you, but it is not simply the mod itself, otherwise everyone would have that issue…

Not going to be fixed, seeing as how Cadence (from Soldier) doesn’t exist in Zenith.

RE: Black mastery window:

So the weird thing is that the Zenith masteries work in the upcoming release of the Grimarillion mod but not in base Zenith itself, but performing a diff-analysis on the related files suggests everything is the same.

mamba, if you can confirm that creating a new character in your version of Zenith works perfectly fine and allows you to select and use one of the Zenith masteries, I’d much appreciate it if you could zip up your Zenith folder and send it to me in some capacity so that I could compare the two versions.

I am otherwise at a loss for why this is happening.

when I start a new char in the version that is for download on the OP, I also get a black mastery window.
If I use an existing char, it shows correctly.
When I create a char in the attached .7z file, I still get the proper window

Any version after that has the problem for new chars, just tried both of them with a fresh char. If you also want the version after it that was the first with the problem (based on timestamp I downloaded that 5 hours later…), let me know

Terror Knight - Soldier of Madness
It seems the ultimate level of this that gives +1 to all skills doesn’t like being shared very much. Every time someone walks out of or into the aura range it lag spikes badly.(my guess is it is trying to calculate the +1 to all skills on the fly and when it does it to someone with a lot of skills, we are looking at a lot of calculation.) Perhaps we can make the skill not an aura anymore? Or if there is a way to make the +1 to all skills only affect the user of the ability?

i have same problem with black screen, use standart language and new char

I can’t really craft a nice skill combo for the Zenith nigga(that Battery skill with it’s modifier don’t really do much damage).

He seems quite promising… just can’t get the hang of it :confused: :frowning:
