All sadly true.
Witch Doctorās Zunimassaās Haunt
itās as Powbam stated, most of the hate came from the insult D3 delivered to its existing fanbase for the reasons state, and countless more.
Hate that was justified at release, but people continue to hate without having experienced the current iteration of the game, which is actually good.
what is that saying? Initial impressions matter most. For most people it doesnāt matter how the game evolved, the initial release sucked out the spirit and soul of the game, and while it might be a technically apt game, it will likely never lure back the old Diablo fanbase. That is mostly because the fundamental mistakes D3 made simply cannot be fixed (the story, the art direction, the drastic gameplay changes, ā¦)
It would probably be a great ARPG, had it not carried the Diablo name.
Which doesnāt change the fact that basing oneās opinion on a past iteration of the game that barely resembles the current one is disingenuous, not to mention makes you look like a child who wonāt admit fault.
I will say, if initial impressions are as damning and deciding to most people as you, then iāve certainly blew it with Insanity.
You should give second chances. Iām learning a LOT about what makes games worthwhile, and certainly did not have what little maturity I do now when I started.
And iām still pretty deep in a rut. Just have faith in actively developed games.
Edit: as this is actually about D3 itself, they improved that game to a point that they turned a dirtclod into a nicely polished gem. Itās not a deep game, it is pretty base, but it actually has some of the best gameplay in the genre.
initial impressions remind me my first version of Demon Hunter, even me was like āwtf is this?ā lul
reading some comments, it seems that Blizzard made Diablo great again after the RoS dlc, good to know. I havenāt played it since 2014, soā¦
Changelog updated with the changes that Patch 1.03 will bring.
I changed mod and then I restarted the mod d3, but I have no point to assign in talents when I took 14 levels? Is this a bug or a bad manipulation?
Be sure to exit and reload Grim Dawn any time you switch mods or to/from vanilla.
I have resumed my backup yesterday, I quit the game, reloaded the mod but nothing does, I have all my levels but no points to re-attribute in the skill, moreover, the fact Having changed my mod reset me all these skill. It is impossible for me at the moment even by removing the other mods and reloading the game to reassign my points in the two classes that I had chosen. I have 14 level to place but in talents he tells me that I have no points. (Sorry for my English I am french).
not sure I agree with this. For one, all of powbams complaints are still validā¦
Has D3 improved, yes. Is it a good game, hell no, not by a long shot.
Do I have to recommend 0? Should I enable cloud backup? Because I played without.
A little help please because I can not play for now unless you start all over again!
Thank you in advance.
youāre calling me a child for basing my opinion of a direct sequel on itās predecessors, and allegedly failing to, quote on quote, admit fault?
Just ⦠what?
well, if I compare the original D3 to RoS I certainly would say the game is 90% the same as before, so saying ābarely resemblesā is the only disingenuous thing hereā¦
No idea how much it changed since, but from all I have seen it changed very little as well.
Hello community, is it possible to make a compilation of the mods D3 grimarillion and Gdreforge?
I do not know if the maneuver is complicated or rather easy, and if it is easy thereafter to update it.
Anyway thanks in advance!
You should ask for it on Grimarillionās thread.
something that bothered me for a long time, the Shadowās Bane/Heels/Grasps textures, finally I remade them.
I would likely not notice anything wrong, but when you do a side by side, man the right side is 100% better.
