[MOD] Diablo 3 Classes: Patch 5.3 Released

At the difficult/mod selection screen? it’s normal.

Well… the mod isn’t dead yet, 1.04 has a lot of changes and it’s taking me so long to finish it.

Talking about dead… This guy is coming soon.

Your Necromancer will be better then Blizzards. Im 100% sure

I’ve been leveling the Demon Hunter since the last week and have noticed that you can’t assign skills from the Devotion tree to the Cluster Arrow. And are you going to turn the Shadow Power skill into an aura?

thanks for the heads-up. Shadow Power is still the same, it will become ‘permanent’ when you use the complete Shadow’s Mantle set.

So… are you going to much later introduce the Crusader and the Necromancer masteries into the mod?

only Necro

Where are hydras in wizard mastery ?

Grimer mentioned that he decided not to add them into the mode.

I find it odd that you’ve made this decision. I liked at least that the skills in the mod were rooted in the D3 skills, but almost nothing has been released for Necromancer in D3 so you’re basically just making everything up wholesale when there’s a whole class (Crusader) ripe for the picking to make into a mastery. Plus, Crusader is much cooler, and would make your mod stand out much more than with the 4th Necromancer mastery this forum has seen made.

Here are some things I noticed while trying your mod and playing a Witch Doctor to level 18:

-Tiki Torchers (level 0): the health value of the Fetish Shaman in the tooltip is glitchy. The value rapidly jumps back and forth from the normal value to higher values without any outer influences. Don’t know if this changes when learning the skill (character not high enough right now to test this)

-Doggies (16/1/1) : you summon all 3 at once, which is nice. BUT when all 3 are out and you resummon only 1 gets replaced. No idea if that’s intended. Waiting for all 3 to die or unsummoning them lets me summon all 3 together again.

-Twice I could not finish quests (Viloth and that one troll). I killed them but it didn’t register. Viloth worked on my second attempt, didn’t try the troll yet.
I suppose this issue could be caused by the dogs summoned by the dogs (forgot the names, sorry)? I know from other mods that summons of pets can cause such issues (like not gaining exp from their kills in some cases).
It could also be a general glitch with the mod or GD, no idea. My money is on the dogs

-Monk: there is one skill that summons a minion, but the tooltip doesn’t say whether it scales with player or pet boni (I suppose the former)

  • Tiki Torchers → it’s a bug from the game, I guess it’s normal when you learn the skill

  • Zombie Dogs → The game doesn’t let to choose the number for burst spawn, it’s always set to ‘1’. The Damned Dogs will be removed, this quest/exp bug is known already.

  • Monk → Which skill? Mystic Ally? It scales with pet bonuses, sorry for not putting this info on the skill description. The Fire Allies also may have the same problem that happen with the Damned Dogs.

Thanks for your feedback

The preview of the skill “Army of the Dead” was a little bit disappointing already. Skeletons that attacks only if you activate the skill? No, thanks. My intention is to bring back the classic skills from D2’s Necromancer along with some new bloody skills.

The Crusader is cool, but some skills are impossible (at least for me) to be imported into GD, like Heaven’s Fury (An Albrecht’s Aether Ray that comes from the sky for a few seconds) and Steed Charge (that riding horse effect is fucking cool, but there’s nothing like that on GD). If you have any ideas for the Crusader, be my guest.

Btw, the NCFF’s Cenobite is pratically a Crusader.

The Cenobite from

Ohhh noooo! What happened to the rest of that sentence?!

Heaven’s Fury actually is a simple skill to do, you just use the same template as Wind Devil and just make a new pillar of light effect.

The horse, yea pretty much impossible to get it as it is in D3.

I don’t work with FX Effects creation. Hydra requires an original fx effect.

couldn’t you repurpose some totem for that ? would not look like a hydra but be functionally similar, if I remember D3 correctly

I was going to say a lot of shit about the Cenobite, shhh!

I think the most similar would be three stationary slith pets, with a fire aura on them and… without their arms lol

I think the most similar vanilla thing would be three stationary slith pets, with a fire aura on them and… without their arms lol
