[MOD] Diablo 3 Classes: Patch 5.3 Released

I took a Wizard, dressed her in Lokarr’s spoils and walked through the Veteran difficulty in ~4 hour and 10 minutes:

The Magic Missile is a powerful spell now, capable of competing on the Veteran with other classes’ skills. The Blizzard with the Apocalypse transmuter is fun. And the Teleport is now more balanced (you can’t jump across the map anymore). I don’t know why to take the Energy Armor anymore - it is not strong enough to compete with other exclusive skills.

There are also strange things in Hydra’s description (-1 second duration - what does it mean?):

What’s the reason the barbarian was left out? I assume most of the abilities are hard to translate to Grim Dawn.

I love the MOD … Very great … BUT : ONLY 3 Devionpoints in Act 1 ??? Is this intended ? :rolleyes: :o

It’s unfortunate if you can not make the Barbarian, would you consider letting other modders add it in this thread if we don’t change anything else ?

100 new items, changes to set bonuses, new Crusader’s crafted 2h weapons, higher chance to get Forgotten Souls (I hope) and more. The final patch of the mod is available now. Click on the image to download it.

Patch 2.5:

General

  • Forgotten Souls: Now hero enemies have 10% chance to drop a Forgotten Soul.
  • Armor Values: Fixed the armor of several items.
  • Crusader’s 2h Weapons: Added 36 new special 2h weapons for crafting (from AOM and D3).
  • The Grand Vizier: Skill modifiers changed. Now it just reduces the cooldown of Meteor by 1 second.
  • Halo of Karini: Skill modifiers changed. Now it adds 200 enemy’s damage reduction for 3 seconds to Storm Armor.
  • Halo of Arlyse: Ice Armor’s chance to avoid melee attacks reduced from 50% to 25%.
  • Uliana’s Destiny: Fixed the tagnotfound error.
  • Zunimassa’s Vision: Fixed the tagnotfound error.
  • Voo’s Juicer: Added the “scales with player damage bonuses” tip to the Manitou skill description.
  • Mythical Fallen Star: Base damage fixed.
  • Raiment of the Garwulf: Added the “scales with pet damage bonuses” tip to the Companion skill description.
  • Bone Tornado (Grace of Inarius): Fixed an issue with its FX effect.

Sets:

  • Grace of Inarius: Added 500 damage reduction to enemies hit by Bone Armor (Tornado).
  • Delsere’s Magnum Opus: Added 10% casting speed + 25% reduced damage taken from Aetherials and Aether Corruptions to Slow Time.
  • Natalya’s Vengeance: Added 50% reduced damage taken from Chthonics while Rain of Vengeance is active.
  • Armor of Akkhan: Added 1000 reduced damage taken from Chthonics and Undead to Akarat’s Champion.
  • Tal Rasha’s Elements: Bonus elemental damage to Magic Weapon reduced from 750 to 500%. Added 500% frostburn/burn/electrocute damage to Magic Weapon. Bonus resistances removed. Added 5% all resistances to Magic Weapon.
  • The Shadow’s Mantle: Added -1 second cooldown and +450 restored health to Shadow Power.

Crusader

  • Burning Wrath: Number of paths of fire reduced from 4 to 2, with the intent of reducing fps issues.
  • Shattered Ground: Life steal removed.
  • Consecration: Fearful bonus removed. It no longer reduces the enemy’s damage by percentage values, instead the flat damage is decreased by 80-300.
  • Phalanx: Cooldown increased from 20 to 30 seconds.
  • Shield Glare: Chance to fumble attacks increased to 100% for 3 seconds. Cooldown increased to 12-10 seconds. Added 40-260 reduction to enemy’s DA for 3 seconds.

Demon Hunter

  • Shadow Power: Damage absorption from Gloom reduced from 500 to 250.
  • Chakram: Fire damage increased from 16-106 to 16-136.

Monk

  • Mantra of Healing: Damage absorption reduced from 5-20% to 6-15%.
  • Serenity: Cooldown slightly increased. New ultimate bonus Unwelcome Disturbance → Enemies take 800 physical retaliation damage.
  • Blinding Flash: Chance to fumble attacks reduced. Chance to confuse targets reduced.

Necromancer

  • Command Skeletons and Skeleton Archer: Number of living pets now is displayed on the HUD with a single icon.
  • Dark Reaping: Life steal reduced from 2-13% to 2-7%.
  • Decrepify: Slow enemy’s speed reduced from 15-50% to 12-45%. Target’s damage reduction decreased from 10-40% to 8-25%.
  • Blight: Target’s damage reduction removed. Added 8-30% chance for target to fumble attacks for 3 seconds.
  • Blood is Power: Total damage modified reduced from 4-40% to 4-25%. Added info about the ultimate bonus → Spreading Malediction: You gain vitality decay retaliation while Blood is Power is active.
  • Frost Spikes: No longer slows enemies. Added chance to freeze targets for 2 seconds.
  • Frailty: No longer disrupt target’s skills, now it slows enemy’s attack speed for 5 seconds.
  • Land of the Dead: Racial bonuses → Bonus damage reduced from 10-50% to 10-40%. Damage taken reduction decreased from 10-50% to 8-20%. Frozenlands → New ultimate bonus. Grants you freezing/cold retaliation and adds frostburn damage to your weapon attacks.
  • Commander of the Risen Dead: Bonus constitution removed.

Witch Doctor

  • Spirit Walk: Cooldown increased at higher levels.
  • Spirit Vessel: Cooldown reduced by 5 seconds.
  • Mass Confusion: Active duration reduced. Radius increased.
  • Corpse Spiders: Piercing damage converted to Vitality. Fixed an issue with the damage scale at ultimate levels. Energy cost increased at ultimate ranks. Chance to stun removed.
  • Ring of Plagues: Renamed to Medusa Spiders. Added 5-16% chance to petrify nearby enemies.
  • Firebats: Fixed an issue where its ultimate bonus was unlocked before the level 16.
  • Pierce the Veil: Total damage modified reduced from 4-25% to 4-20%. Energy cost increased by 30.
  • Well of Souls: Cold damage increased from 6-40 to 12-78. Vitality damage increased from 4-28 to 5-60.
  • Phantasm: Cold damage turned into frostburn damage over 3 seconds.

Wizard

Hey Grimer is this mod just the classes and items without any gameplay changes?
I was playing the classes in grimarillion and enjoyed them, but I would also like to play them with out all of grimarillion’s gameplay changes.

Yes it is, vanilla campaign with D3 classes and items.

Final patch as in, this mod is now complete and you are done working on it ?

Yes, just gonna update 2.5 with some bug fixes and Kanai’s Cube before Xmas and will be done.
