Is there a way to apply a modifier to an autoCastSkill of another skill?
In the same vein, how do modifiers work at all? Do they apply to all skills listed in the skillDependancy? Or the one above them in the skilltree?

Here’s the thing though: I can’t put the autoCastSkill in the skill tree.
If it doesn’t exist in any skilltree anywhere, no. But say you autoCasted Dreeg’s Evil Eye; DEE’s modifiers would apply to it as they were leveled.
Interesting, it seems I’ve done something wrong there then or must be missing something. I’ve had the idea of introducing an auto casted skill into the skilltree with level one, then putting the modifier beneath it - but all that that would do is apply the modifier to that level one skill, NOT the actual auto cast skill, indicating that the auto cast skill is its own “instance”, if that makes sense. (Similar to how the auto cast skills level is dependant on the skill casting it)
I’ll try again, see what comes of it.

Tried it, doesn’t work. There’s no way to have a modifier apply to an autoCastSkill as far as I can tell. R.I.P. Stargazer.
