I’ve got an old Voracious Reach build with dual Moltenclaws that I haven’t played in forever. I’d have to pull this guy out of retirement and update it a bit.

Depending on what your definition of “good” is, the build will still work but I wouldn’t expect to take down celestials with it. Yugol relic builds were mostly a novelty even at the time of making this.

So I took the character out for a spin (pun intended :upside_down_face:) and everything still works fine. The numerous nerfs to phys res means it only has 9% currently but I ran a couple SR’s and the big physical hitters weren’t too punishing. Monster phys damage has been reduced enough along with the resist nerfs.

I think if I was going to change anything, I’d swap Solael pants for Dreeg-Sect. They have a high bias towards “Consecrated” prefix so if you get a pair with that and decent affix you’ll max stun resist and improve the slow resist too which is pretty low in the posted spec. Otherwise just farm a couple of decent Moltenclaws, preferably with enough attack speed to try and hit 200%.

Edit: Forgot to mention, it also has energy sustain issues so swapping from topaz on the ring to a soul shard would likely be a good idea.

Melee Fire Strike would work with these of course, probably the best, but I’ve only seen Nex and Ortus Fire Sabo builds so Moltenclaws are probably not optimal.

I think I theorycrafted a beginner Grenado / Canister Sabo with these once but I don’t have a link atm.

which build would you both use to level up until the weapons can be used?

Fire Demolitionist with (Greater) Fireblast from component + Blackwater Cocktail (or some other Fire caster skill).

Ok, I found my Beginner SSF Moltenclaw Slicer Bomber Sabo theorycraft (level 75 Ulzuin from Vinelton :laughing: )

Maybe Moltenclaws Slicer can be gotten quickly after killing Krieg if you go to FG, hard to say as I’ve never done it.

Yeah you can it’s not all that hard. I’ve gone all the way to get an early Sunherald claymore before.

You just have to complete the 2 or 3 faction quests to unlock the gate at the Vanguard of the Three. Everything else can be skipped over.
