My feedback/Wishlist

  1. Ascendancy altar be made PERMANENT. but you can reset it for 1000 bits (practically free)
  2. Probably not possible but TQ2 has an option to “RESPAWN ALL MOBS”. if the suggestion to make altar permanent then i guess it would be fine.
  3. Create a new crafting Augment “Override conversion”. This applies “Damage conversion from this item converts to X damage instead”.
  4. Create 4 new constellations, one for each colour. For an example chaos/red. it will have 4 paths that the player can take. each path for each other colour. for example the green path. allocating 1 point into this green path removes 1 red point and give you 2 green ones in return.

the purpose is to encourage players to over invest in a single colour. i like chaos constellations a huge lot but they grant NOTHING after you’ve hit 8 points. pretty sure this is by design but at the same time it makes me feel like i m wasting points when i over invest.

5.maybe do not increase costs of rerolls? i ll be real and say the loud part out. i dont want to play grimdawn forever. i enjoy the grind but i m not young anymore. the sooner i can complete my build, the sooner i can try a different build. believe me you, i WANT to try different builds.
6. i guess i want “mirrors” to exist. i dont want to cheese the game by installing a mod. i want to play the game legit. but some of the ascendant mods are a hassle to keep rerolling. for example if i get a basic attack replacer +% mod, i want to keep it and get another copy of the item to have a different +% mod. i want to have many characters specializing in different things. the only 2 ways i can think of is if we were given a way to mirror our items or to just simply select the mods we want.
7. more stash space lmao
8. npc for all “key consuming areas”. certain npcs in all towns have this ability to teleport players to relevant key consuming areas. they unlock this ability only after the player has beaten the campaign boss for ultimate difficulty AND all key consuming area bosses of that difficulty.
9. stronger hints on quest locations. i sometimes forget an npc’s location and i need to rely on gd tools to relocate them.

EDIT: forgot to add
10. Make a minor altar of ascendancy a thing or weaker mods. this is for the weaker players. my build is good so i can almost run all mods, but for weaker players they gain minor to zero benefit from the altar as the enemy bonus multipliers can be too hard to handle. or consider making minor bonuses that come with no drawbacks.
11. Make it possible to CULL certain drops. i play SSF primarily (lmao most of us do), so i really gain no benefit from getting weapons that i dont use. i dont trade with other players either.

i guess thats it.
fucking hell, congrats crate. you got me crawling back to GD and pry myself away from POE. thats really no easy feat. i m enjoying the hell out of GD right now and i see pathways where i can work towards something i want.

This one is so obvious… Should have been on day one.

They should be cheaper and max limit far lower. The same goes for ascended bonuses.

The rest I don´t agree with.

Agree for some of the bonuses, not all. So, the altar would have to be changed significantly.
And definitely the costs would have to go considerably up. By like, a lot!
Reset could be entirely free.

More arbitrary stash space doesn’t do anything. Just begs for another ask down the line.
This has been my major contention with ARPG game designers, since forever. Give us unlimited storage, not more stahes. And if you are feeling especially generous towards your collector community of players, build us a mule feature.

Don’t agree with the rest. Good job though!

all horrible, horrible ideas no offense
glad yuo like the game, im also done with poe

i’ve been slinging my keyboards in forums for a long time. its pretty common for people to disagree with me, that’s pretty normal.

i find it really interesting that you would clarify yourself saying you give no offense in the same sentence you mention how they’re horrible ideas.

you could say you disagree, without the use of the word horrible and can be seen as an aggressive word to use against something you’re really dislike. maybe something for you to consider in the future.

i m not entirely done with poe actually. just that i m enjoying myself a great deal playing gd as it is right now.

if this is the cost for making it permanent, i would accept it.

I disagree because they’re so horrible. They would make the game worse for me, and your only impetus for the bulk of these changes is that you are, in your own words, old and lazy? I can’t even quote you verbatim without it sounding like an insult, so I left it at the vague dismissal + polite platitude.

It’s not up to us to pick apart other player’s feedback anyways, but I assume crate pays some amount of attention to the general animus. consider it a free bump

true, which is where all you’re doing is giving low value feedback.

i appreciate that you actually elaborated a little on how the game would make the game worse for you. that is at least hints at the reason why you would say its horrible.

i do like how you say you cant quote me verbatim without making it sound like an insult. it really shows me how you view things. it says a whole lot about you than it does me.
