DPS wise cabalist rules!
Even in glad crucible, cabalist melt stuffs so fast that you will not put ur summoner in danger.
NO matter how tanky you are, you are not going to out tank 4 nemesis(AOM), the only way is to kill them fast,
The thing about res and tackiness for a pet build is that you should have enough—enough to survive at least 10 seconds, i kill any nemesis with in 5 to 8 seconds in the campaign (with no potion buff!)
In such a short time frame, the boss can really do nothing!
Sorry son, play without potion buff and you will understand the difference.
If you really think conjurer outclass cabalist.
Plz finish some of the game’s hardest contents cuz that’s the real test to the understanding of pet build----what is important, what is enough, what does conjurer lack(dps unfortunately )
Bro, my skeles are hard as rock-- 35k health, never yield to any nemesis, just mad queen and ravager.(you have 10 0f them too, they hit super duper hard too)

Loving the video, sneaky parrot! Is this still the Witching Hour Cabalist you had in your previous thread and your optimization is just fighting her more strategically, or did you make any equipment / devotion alterations?
As much as I love my tanky-as-all-getout Retaliation Conjurer, it’s obvious that a Cabalist was going to blow Conjurers out of the water after Witching Hour got that crazy good buff. I dabbled with Witching Hour myself and the kill times were clearly there, but sneaky parrot’s build does an excellent job balancing kill speed / DPS with pet and general survivability. Are you going to make a full guide thread down the road?
Shaman definitely has a lot of good gearing that adds quite a bit to build diversity, but once both builds are optimized, Cabalist is going to come out a clear winner.

I don’t believe most people have played both when they comment but I know you have. What are the kill time differences on average for most nemesis when using an optimal conjurer vs an optimal cabalist? A few seconds? More than 10 seconds?
Conjurer is more superior in general.

Nope, optimization means better gears(some high rolls and a better pants(taskmaster bysmiel leggerds of caged souls)! Oh my god! i must have killed 2k of that poor thing!)
Gotta finish so many problem sets and assignments those days that i hardly have anytime for a big well made thread, but making a detailed build guide is definitely something on my mind, i’ll inform you the moment i do made one.
BTW, i make this cabalist a crucible(150) farmer now(finished 20 times) with no buff at all.
Most exciting part of all, this build still has room for huge damage improvement but that damn thing still hasn’t dropped for me yet!
Once I think the build is done, i’ll go for glad 160-170.
It’s ok to play any pet build you like, it’s just a game as long as you enjoy it.
As a matter of fact,I have 4 different end game pet builds including conjurer so i guess my opinions are pretty earnest.
5 to 6 seconds…but that means heaven and hell difference in glad crucible becuz things add up to be huge.
Even a pet ritualist build can finish the campaign in ultimate with ease, but cabalist is definitely the flag bearer of pet build right now.
Boring AF though. Too passive. I never managed to get out of veteran with it.
Cabalist at least gets to do shit himself. And Reap Spirit is unexplainably fun.
If you think it is boring you just haven’t played a good pet build to be honest. I thought the same and then I found my favourite conjurer pet build. It can’t do mogdrogen, not because it can’t survive but it is so hard to specifically do damage to him. I can survive against him but with so many pets around all the time you just can’t get any solid damage on him. My pet build can kill any nemesis and mad queen and things. I haven’t tried ravager yet.
Show the build. Mogdrogen should be np for us Conjurers. Ravagers easy. If you want to beat him you can just cheese him. Use all burst buffs, when he aggros you instead of your pets run to the street he will run back to his spawn and repeat.
I Have Played Both to end game, got most BiS items, my cunjurer feels twice as slow on most Bosses / Nemesis. If i’m honest my Cunjurer doesn’t feel all that much tankier either. fiendflesh shoulders + fiendflesh boots + seal of ancestors help the cabalist feel pretty resilient.
