My findings so far

Thanks once again for a great game. Nice one.

I have a town of 230 people, and here is some feedback. Hope it’s usful.

• Invaders are not very smart. Invasions are very samey. Not much variation in the challenge and straight forward to win (They have ever overwhelmed me, and I am on the hardest setting)
• Animal Traps have a ‘file not found’ type error message, rather than their name
• ‘Too large a heard’ symbol on the Barn is broken
• Does food spoil faster in summer, than it does winter? Just an idea.
• Would be good to auto compost the fields that need it the most
• Need a way to quick search the build menu
• Need a way to quick find existing buildings
• Decorations are very limited
• Need a way to clear up the grounds in our orchards.
• “Villager attacked” - Would be good to differentiate if this is a Villiger, Hunter or Soldier
• “X buildings Destroyed” – Would be good to differentiate if this was a wall, and where the destroyed building is
• Would be good to be able to recall soldier to the barracks, from the barracks (without having to cancel the flag)
• Would be good if we could ‘manage land’ – keep the trees and bushes short and keep it to a grass field for example
• Where are the rivers, and buildings and things associated with rivers such as; dams, locks, water wheels, boats etc
• Snow fall> Snow in the hills > thaw in summer > fast Rivers > full lakes would be a cool cycle to implement
• Raiders should be able to walk on ice
• Should be able to farm; deer, boars etc
• The range of Wildlife could be broader.
o Eagles/ Falcons for further hunting?
o Beavers in rivers etc
o Any way to bring in Domesticated Dogs, from Wolves?
• I can’t seem to get the Shelters to work? I need instructions (more generally too)
• We need deep mines, bc depleting resources means the game will need to end at some point.
• Would be good to build a better trading partnership with visiting traders; Requested good, discount or adjustable prices, long term contracts etc?
• Hunters have the “Haven’t found any game for a while”, whilst still bringing in 100+ units of meat in the last 12 months
• I don’t know how to solve the diseased fields, other than stop putting crops/ the associated crops on them?
• Trading post – Would be good to be able to set a minimum global stock level, such that the trading post only get stocked up once that level had been exceeded
• Would be good to have a mini map to aid navigation. Definitely needed on the large map sizes
• Performance seems generally pretty good, but there are regular 1-2 second freezes which are distracting. Perhaps when auto saving?

Food system needs a balance I think - 11 Foragers (across the map for highest yeilds), 5 Tier 2 Hunters (across the map again), 15 fishermen, 16 5x5 fields (being managed to maximise outputs), 3 barns with 37 cows (milking on, and slaughtering regularly), an Arborist with 32 trees, a baker for bread, and all the storing inftastructure established and working… and still only 1-2months max of food (peaking at 3-4 months occasionally)?

I can’t seem to break in to a comforable level and my Food Happiness is always low.

Would be useful if the Population x/y info in the ribbon at the top of the screen, also showed Free Labourers and Builders too, rather than having to enter the table.

My cows cannot graze on farm fields even when they are full of clover? This may be because the field is on a hill (but doesn’t look steep enough to stop the cows roaming it?)

When the raiders break through one area of your fencing, only some come through, whilst others contine to try to break down other areas. They randomly attack any area, including heavily defended areas, leaving weakly defended areas untouched.

I can only see how productivie a beehive is when I move it/ place it.

My monthly budget is usually running 30-50 gold in the red. Unless I turn off a School, Theater or Hospital to break even, I can’t seem to make a consistant break even or profit. Thus, the Trading Post is vital to keep in the Black, but this seems wrong.

ADDITIONAL - I just had a flash (3-4 months in game) of 220 income per month - with ‘Manufacturing’ producing 200 which I had not seen before. This has now disappeared, and I am back to 20 income per month. So Manufacturing income appears to be missing for the most part.

My markets seem to randomly turn items off, meaning the little tick mark is unselected on some items (I have not unselected them), and I don’t know why this is happening, or why I should unselect items?

Should be able to quick clear a field, rather than deleting each crop one by one

The Aborist’s trees die over time, but we don’t get notified or prompted to manage this space.

When a mine is out of ore, the miners still stay there until you release them which is an odd behaviour.

Would be useful to be able to ‘sell maximium’ when trading, mean that you sell all of an item up to what the other trader can afford. Moving the slider to find the maximum level is fiddley and repetative.

I’d like to name my pubs please :-). Indeed, it would be good to create named neighbourhoods and roads etc.

Whenever I move my troops with the flag, then move the flag to another location, the troops always turn back towards their barracks for a moment before turning to the new/ correct location.

You can, set max heard size and they’ll slaughter them every year
