I recently got grim dawn, and after playin for a bit I started to wonder if the build im making have any potential, especially that Im going in blindly.
its a demolitionist and Occultist build (only took me 30 levels to realize that i can pick a second class…duh). Anyway im lvl 42 atm, but here is the finished build:
my build atm have all the demolitionist perks taken as in the build above, and Im now making my way into occultist side.
Gear Wise, im using the …eee… token I could craft in Devils Crossing to allow for dual pistol wield, and Im running that.
Rest of the gear is just random i guess, stacking mostly fire and burn dmg, as well as some vitality and armor.
Im not sure what sort of gear i should be using, so atm im just going with stuff that, I think, helps boost my dmg.

Blast shield and searing light are huge for survival. Temper, explosive strike and static strike won’t do much for your build. Blood of treeg =regen and heal on demand. Aspect of the guardian has phys resist, very important, and also huge posion resist, a huge advandage that the occultist has.
Black water cocktail debuffs resistance s by a flat amount increasing your damage substantially. also debuffs enemy phys damage with the transmuter which is great. The flat resistanfe debuffs stacks with the -% fire and chaos debuff from solael devotion, which you should get.
Curse of Frailty also debuffs resistances even more. -% resistance stack with itself (soalel devo +vulnerability). It’s the type of debuff that does that. You can bind solael devotion to either curse or cocktail
I’s also lose consecrated blade. Your guns don’t have a lotr of phys damage to convert from.
